Bottle @Pork 'n' Roll (Rome), thanks Mark for sharing. Red ruby kind of pour, close to a dark rosee wine. Low foam with reddish highlights. Nose offers vinous notes, resinous aroma. Mouth is typical Cantillon, elegant, wine spritz.

Pours dark red, some lacings. Nose has tartness, red wine complexity and lots of sour berries, red currants maybe. Taste is also definitely sour but balanced with oak, pure fruit and grape flavors. Bitterness there but only just for balance. Dries your mouth with lots of tannins, lingers and leaves you wanting for more.

My favorite Cantillon I’ve had to date, though I think it’s important to note that I’m typically a red wine drinker. Best of both worlds, Lambic and Merlot. A beautiful nose and an even better finish.

UPDATED: AUG 19, 2017 Tap at brewski. Had to have a second. Sours don't get much better. Light funk, sour, dark fruits light, refreshing, tart and bloody delicious.

UPDATED: AUG 18, 2017 On tap at Brewski. Cherry red hue with aroma of strawberry and oak. Taste is a tart version of a good sparkling rose'. A nice palate cleanser.

Deep purple nose. Very musky nose with cobwebs, oak, Vinous . Very sour, tons of cobwebs, leather, vinous, so balanced. Oak, cobwebs and leather linger with faint hints of red grapes. Amazing

UPDATED: AUG 17, 2017 Aroma: 8 Medium/heavy aroma of malts, caramel, wood, red fruit, grapes, tart and brettanomyces. Appearance: 5 Opaque red/purple beer with a slight pink head. Taste/Palate: 8/4 Starts medium sweet with malts, caramel, wood, red fruit and grapes; ends slightly bitter, dry and sour with tart and brettanomyces. Overall: 17 This beer is intense, complex and balanced. That is a lot of brettanomyces, as is to be expected of this brewery. Great wood and grape flavour, definitely matching that finish. Perfect appearance and a great aroma and palate as well.
