3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: MAR 26, 2013 Bottle, 75cl brewed 2007 - Red semi hazy beer with a small be consistent head. Aroma is fruity sour with notes of red wine, oak, red berries, leather, barnyard and cassis. Flavor is sour fruity with heavy notes of oak and leather as well as hints of red wine, tannins and earth. Highly enjoyable, not the best lambic I’ve had but definitely in the top.
Bottle, courtesy of jamesy (cheers, buddy!). This is a great, curious bottle of beer. It’s earthy and a little bitter, with quite a bit more tannin bite than Cantillon’s lighter offerings. Moravius (1291) - Pyongyang, NORTH KOREA - JUL 23, 2017

2015 bottle. Pours an opaque ruby red with a fading pink bubbly head. Aroma is of dark grapes, vinegar, tart, raspberries. Taste is of dark grapes, oak, dark berries, raspberry, vinegar, funky, tart. Oily mouthfeel, medium to hard carbonation. davidezdonz (503) - Hong Kong, HONG KONG - JUN 22, 2017
A 750ml bottle, bottled on 14th November 2016. Poured into a wine glass. It was a very nice lightly cloudy ruby red colour with a two finger pinkish head that dissipated fairly quickly to a settled thin layer with only sparse lacing. Aromas of lots of tart red berries, raspberry and strawberry plus grapes and lemon. Nice barrel and oak character with a hint of red wine vinegar and only light funk and barnyard-iness. Tastes moderately sour, cherry, raspberry, strawberry, grape juice and oak with hints of grapefruit and funk. Dry, light to medium bodied with moderate to high carbonation. Overall with less than a year since bottling, there was lots of really nice fruit flavours bursting out while the funk was quite light. Although this particular bottle was quite young, it also taste great with age. Can’t wait to try more of this wonderful goodness.

2016 vintage poored into wineglass
When I opened the bottle it was like opening the door to the brewery. That recognizable funk fills the nose. Poors a beautiful raspberry pink with some Bordeaux hues.
Mouthfilling fruitiness and, slightly tannic, lots of grapeskins and ripe berries. Leini (2056) - SWEDEN - JUN 8, 2017

Great mix of Lambiek and wine. Best of both worlds. Very juicy lambiek and grapes. Awesome combination: the puckering effect of the Lambiek and grapes. Ferris (15403) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 8, 2017
Bottle - Red fruit and vinous notes. Deep ruby red with a decent white head. Soft red juicy fruit and light tartness. Very vinous and a dry finish.
