COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Vigneronne is a blending muscat grapes and lambic, the brewers and beer merchants produced the "druivenlambik" (grapes lambic). White grapes soaked in lambic. The fructose, which abounds in these fruits, enables us to make a beer which is more mellow than the Gueuze or the other fruit beers. The spontaneous fermentation, the ageing in the barrels for several years and the addition of grapes make it a distant cousin of certain white wines. Changed name from Druivenlambik in 1987.

Bottle corked in 2008. Pours a muted, cloudy golden color with little-to-no head. Aroma of light wines, funk, and hay. Taste is of lightly sweet grapes, tartness, oak, and doughy bread. Light mouthful. Well balanced. Really good considering the age.

Tap at Ma Che Siete Venuti a F, Rome-Italy. Cloudy dark golden pour, medium white foam with a decent retention. Nose is certainly vinous, fox grapes, fruity red wine. Elegant notes a bit fruity as well. Mouth: silky and elegant, bitterness is tart but mild and body is fruity and a bit vinous.

750 ml bottle during Zwanze 2016. The beer is a hazy gold with a white head of foam. In the aroma I get musty fruit and straw. Apricots, white grapes, a bit winey. Mild tartness and dry, funky fruit. Soft spritz of carbonation. Medium body. In a day of outstanding beers, this beer stood out at being especially awesome.

Bottle poured into a snifter showing lightly filtered dull yellow with no head. The nose shows tart and acetic notes of light oak and floral notes. The palate is medium bodied and not carbonated. Highly tart with flavors of citric lemon and acetic flowers. Very light and subtle hints of honey. Not bad!
