Sample at Zwanze 2017, Jolly Pumpkin. Aroma is funk, tart, funk, grapes, good. Appearance is hazy, dark golden, white head. Taste is grape, funk, sour, wood, excellent. Draught. Pours hazy straw yellow with a small foamy white head. Aroma is grape, funk, wood, lemon, earth, hay, and barnyard. Taste is similar; some pepper, too. Grapes have more white wine character in the taste than in the nose. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Crisp mouthfeel. Acidity builds throughout, culminating in a spicy/acidic finish. Bouteille au Buck de Trois-Rivières. Embouteillée on octobre 2016, bue après près d'un an. Robe jaunâtre trouble sans col de mousse. Arômes de lambics légèrement citronnés, sirop de pêche, jus de raisins blanc, vin fruité et un peu acide. En bouche, vin blanc fruité, lambics, jus de pomme verte, sirop de pêche laissant une trace épicée, bois vert. Texture très vineuse et corps mince. Acidité très bien dosée par la présence du raisin. Pleasant notes of grapes with sour notes, floral, golden with no head, light body, soft carbonation, not too sour and very balanced, extremely refreshing...perfect.

Dec. ’16. On tap at Be.Re, Rome, with ippopotamo36. It poured a hazy orange body with medium sized head. Lightly sour aroma of very fine grapes with typical apple, even leather notes of lambic and some extra wood. Flavor was of course sour, but not that much, with just a little grapes blended in. White vinegar, leather, wood, hay, underripe fruit (apricot or something like that), yeast, a little bit of everything but not very rich. Medium to thin bodied with pretty long tart finish. Also, quite hard to discern which flavor came from which counterpart, but this fruit lambic is less fruity and more lambic than others in its category. 75cl bottle shared @ beerlovers bar. Aroma of white wine, tartness more subtle, sweet rather than acidic. Taste distinctly white wine, good combination with the soft, lightly acidic lambiek. Bottle. Aroma of citrus, white underriped grapes, horseblanket and wood. Vineous. Heavy sour tart. Light and juicy. A nice one.
