Cloudy yellow pour into a ballon glass delivers a very small head. Earthy and fruity with mild grape presence and a lemony finish. This is a pretty mild sour by Cantillon standards - at least when fresh. Very smooth and dinkable. Refreshingly good but not my favorite of their offerings.
KansaiBeerLvrs (5373) - Kyoto, JAPAN - NOV 11, 2017
I thought I'd lost the rating for this but just stumbled on my tasting notes, go figure. Drunk to celebrate my wedding anniversary in 2013. From notes: ThaMasterz (4) - - OCT 22, 2017 does not count
"2012 vintage lot A12. Great carbonation, light pink head on a ruby red body. Grapes, a bit of mustiness... Very reminiscent of red wine. Incredibly sour, very tart, highly acidic. I think it needs more aging. I am getting some musty grape notes, a bit of earthy woodsyness as well. Interesting but it is not at it's best I think. I feel like it is a wine/beer hybrid that is more on the wine side."

Draft - White musty grape and a touch vegatle. Cloudy gold with a small white head. Green and vegatle, not my favourite. koleminer20 (3976) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - SEP 29, 2017
From notes. Pour at Zwanze Day 2017 at Jolly Pumpkin on September 23. The pour is a darker golden yellow with a thick white head that falls down slowly with a couple spots of lace in wake. The aroma is pretty good. Lots of funk, grape must, oak, and tart skins. This is actually surprisingly balanced for what I was expecting. The funk and tart skin work well together. The flavor is much of the same. The grapes and funky oak balance out nicely on the back end. The mouth feel is lighter medium bodied with a nice crisp carbonation and a lingeringly grape must and oakiness abound. This is a solid brew. I am a fan of the Cantillon selection this year. Nicely done. 8 4 8 4 16 Rubin77 (2586) - Brussels / Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - SEP 26, 2017

Tart aroma in a hazy gold pour. Sour taste profile is a little one dimensional and light/watery - but delicious nonetheless. ebone1988 (2124) - Dearborn, Michigan, USA - SEP 23, 2017
