COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Vigneronne is a blending muscat grapes and lambic, the brewers and beer merchants produced the "druivenlambik" (grapes lambic). White grapes soaked in lambic. The fructose, which abounds in these fruits, enables us to make a beer which is more mellow than the Gueuze or the other fruit beers. The spontaneous fermentation, the ageing in the barrels for several years and the addition of grapes make it a distant cousin of certain white wines. Changed name from Druivenlambik in 1987.

750 ml bottle during Zwanze 2016. The beer is a hazy gold with a white head of foam. In the aroma I get musty fruit and straw. Apricots, white grapes, a bit winey. Mild tartness and dry, funky fruit. Soft spritz of carbonation. Medium body. In a day of outstanding beers, this beer stood out at being especially awesome.

Bottle poured into a snifter showing lightly filtered dull yellow with no head. The nose shows tart and acetic notes of light oak and floral notes. The palate is medium bodied and not carbonated. Highly tart with flavors of citric lemon and acetic flowers. Very light and subtle hints of honey. Not bad!

750 mL bottle. Originally reviewed 9/15/2013. Very hazy orange body. Nice white head that settles to a thick collar. Nose is acidic and very citrusy. Lemon and orange. Musty hay. If I think about it, I can imagine it smelling like grapes. Huge citrus flavor here. Much more lemon than any grape flavor, although I get the grapes more here than in the nose. Grain, hay, and all the standard Cantillon lambic flavors. The sourness is strong and blends well with the grape sweetness. Medium carbonation. Strong sourness, but never overbearing. This is great. Nothing like what I expected from a grape lambic.

750ml bottle from Legacy. Bottled November 12, 2015. Tasting at Brians. Pours a hazy straw with no head. Almost no carbonation. First nose is sulphidic (spoiled? although disappeared after), fruity. Same taste. Unfortunately is not so good, as it should be.

Bottle sample tasted at BBF Lab Madrid 2016 on the 02/07/2016. Cloudy yellow to orange colour with a quickly dissappearing white head. Aroma of white grapes, wood and more fruits. Taste is refreshing and fruity with a sour and woody finish. Solid one! Next one please!
