Bottle kindly shared by Anker, thanks buddy. Hazy golden with a small white head. Yeast, wet basement, sugar, light fruity, tartness, earthy, light bitter hops. Easy drinkable. I miss the sourness from other Cantillons. jackl (8271) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUN 23, 2014
Colleen!! Bottle @ Bruce’s. Hazy gold pour with a small head. Dried poo and lemon sherbet. Not particularly nuanced. The taste is very similar. Lemon slice and wheaty funk. Dried earth and bits of driftwood. Molding cotton. Light body, active carbonation. Decent, but lacks that extra dimension you find in the best sours. mmahut (1859) - CZECH REPUBLIC - MAY 20, 2014
Hazy yellow body with low foam. Sour on the nose at first, little bit fruity in the background, pears, peach. Taste has medium fruity sourness, acidic after taste, dry. Body is full, high carbonation. manker (76) - SWEDEN - MAY 14, 2014
Bottle @ summer tasting and now bottle @ Moeder. Very refreshing with lemons, grapes and white wine. Sour with some not too long lasting herbal notes.

One of the original Zwanze experiences, this time a lambic fermented with Witbier yeast, a unique and light experience. Perfect for a summer day, this has gone through some ups and downs over the years.. Starting out lacking something and experiencing a bit of a glut around 2011-2012. The last bottle I opened in 2013 had come into its own, rounding out a bit and developing a blunt , mild funk and flat sourness and losing some of the witbeer character. Though still mostly a curiosity, it’s been quite interesting to watch this develop. Countbeer (6591) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - APR 12, 2014
Bottle: Served in a Chouffe glass:
Small white foamy head on top of a hazy yellow colored beer.
Aroma is mainly if not only oak, white oak... With a sprinkle of citrus.
Flavour is mainly oak with some lemon/citrus tones, light tart, light yeasty, some grapes and a hint of something wood chalky. Easy yet difficult! Delicious beer!
Aftertaste is a mix of oak, grapes, light tart and some yeast.
Low carbo, light spicy tart creamy mouthfeel, medium to fuller bodied and a light creamy light dry texture.
Amazingly tasty, seems so simple yet complexity lays in the woody notes. Staffan47 (909) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - MAR 26, 2014
Inte det minsta påverkad av subjektiva ting.... Nice. På moeder lambic. Har snudd på aprikos i doften. Högst otippat. Intensiv smak av tunn kall geuze, men väldigt tunn i kropp. Alla smaker är puts väck på nån sekund. Tungt kryss dock. Bottle split by myself at Jack Back March ’14 tasting, 06/03/14 from an IP trade cheers to Kevin in Ghent.
Hazed orange amber with a moderate white spotting and edgework.
Nose is tangy dark fruit, bitter orange, menthol notes, dank woody tones, damp straw, light spice.
Taste comprises lemon rind, light spice, straw, orange pithy notes, light musty wood.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, tangy citric sherbet notes in the close.
Decent enough but no ’wow’ factor. Leighton (21873) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 6, 2014
Bottle shared in London - many, many thanks to Colin for this doozy. Pours hazy yellow-gold with a foamy white head. Decent snout, some tangy hay, spritely lemon. Light sweet with dried sweat, lemon rind, a bit of bitter hay. Light bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Moderate sweetness to finish, definitely some age, slight sugary wheat, old lemon, citrus rind. OK.
