Golden color, small head. Sour citric fruits and some berries on the aroma, on the taste too. Some yeast and wood also. Sourish palate. Very good.

75 cl bottle @ hotel room, Brussels. Rated on 20.07.2010
Aroma is sourish with urinal cake and some soapy citrus typical to witbiers. Flavour is sour and somewhat tart with citrus, some urinal cake, earthy notes and hints of spices. A witbier way more sour and tart than usually. Interesting, funky and refreshing.

Bottle (750 ml). Shared by Fred82, huge thanks! Clear and bright yellow/golden with a small white head and little lacing. Aroma is very interesting with strong lemony notes, light spices, herbal presence and light funky notes. Taste is very lemony too and similar to the aroma. Light body. Medium to lively carbonation. Clean/crisp. Chalky and slightly dry mouthfeel. Light, refreshing and drinkable. Unique wild Wit. Lovely.

750ml bottles provided by Jean & Jean at WLV gathering.

Pours golden yellow, white fizzy head that dissipates down to a thin ring around the glass and some faint bubble on top here and there which act as a cap. Nice funk/sour notes, lemon zest, barnyard. Not quite as funky as the nose would suggest. Light hay notes, some bitter funk, slight lemon zest. Slight bitter funky finish. Light, crisp, fizzy carbonation, dry finish.

Scopey (14511) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 27, 2013
Bottle shared at WoSF, 2013. It pours clear golden with a thick white head. The nose is strongly menthol notes, herbal, ice-tea, wheat, peach, nectarine, wood and earth. The taste is lemon, ice-tea, tart granny smith apple, hay, wood and home-made lemonade with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Pretty unusual...smells rather minty. Interesting, but far from their best!

berntholer (1615) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - MAY 26, 2013
ivory white head that disappears quickly without lacing. cloudy straw-yellow colour. pronounced aroma that reminds me of a white/green mold on a spoiled orange. the taste is like the aroma but i would also add a dried up mandarin ends bitter followed by a wry aftertaste. medium carbonation. hmm although an interesting experience i can’t say i am a big fan of this edition. bottle 75 cl @ weekend der spontane gisting 2013
