Flaske fra vinmonopolet. Svart farget, stor skumtopp, medium karbobert.

18.01.2014. 0,33l Bottle. Vinmonopolet Kvadrat, Sandnes. Black colour with tan head. Rich malty sroma with roasted dark malts. Dry bitter dark chocolate. Strong and rich with lots of alcohol. Warm and rich with a kind if chilly touch. Rich beer. Not very bitter, and almost without sweetness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle, from backlog.
Cap marked T-188 amd BB date 2015-02-07.
Black color, fairly big light brown head. Sweet, hoppy, citrus, resin scent, some malt and roasted notes also. Citrus, resin, bitter, hoppy, alcohol taste. Citrus, bitter, resin aftertaste, long after comes a roasted lingering note synced to a lasting piney bitterness. Medium to a bit realxed yet not smooth mouthfeel, medium high to high bitterness.
Nice, but overly hoppy for a black beer for my taste, I’d like it even more with the hops and the bitterness toned down. But hey, it is just my opinion ;)

[email protected] Black. Nice dark dry choco, black berries, licorice on nose. Somewhat dry, but tasty- I remember the other CAPs being sort-of underperformers, but this is quite nice. A bit dry, and dusty. But flavourful. If you’re out for a tasty dark licorice stout, this hits the spot.

Gorm (1899) - Sandnes, NORWAY - JAN 8, 2014
Mørk brun nesten sort farve med beige skum. Lukt av god røstet malt og kaffe. Smak av røstet malt, kaffe og sjokolade. Fruktig og noe bitter. Vinmonopolet.

Tide (4371) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JAN 3, 2014
Draught at Black Door. Black color, beige head. Bitter taste with roasted malts, hops, coffee, licorice and a bit of chocolate. Bitter finish with hops, roasted malts and licorice. Very nice porter, although a bit overpowered by hops.

UPDATED: JAN 10, 2014 Bottle 33cl.
Clear dark brown colour, with a slight red tint, and a beautiful light brown and creamy head. Excellent lacing. Nice roasted malt, with some leather, chocolate and citrus. Nice and creamy body. Long finish with nice bitters.
Unfortunately it was a bit too warm when served. Measured at 16℃, after tasting.

Bottle, at Nærbø Ølfestival 2013. A dark, dark brown beer with a dense, finger-thick beige head leaving lacings. It’s roasted towards burnt in the aroma, with dried fruits and a faint meaty hint. Sweet flavor with roasted malts, dark dried fruits and a meaty touch. Some chili-ish notes. Full body, dry-ish and with a pleasant carbonation level. Lasting finish. A pretty nice and tasteful one. 131019
