33cl botta purchased @ Leclerc Le Boulou. Le Banyuls est bien présent et apporte une rondeur.

33cl bottle. Clear golden colour with a small white head. Herbal, caramel, lemon and light wine in the aroma. Average carbonation and light body. Taste is sweet with some wine notes towards the finish. Overall, drinkable but not remarkable.

On bottle from Carrefour in Collioure. Clear golden color, soft carbonation and some quickly dissipating foam. Medium/low aroma intensity; malty, Banuyls, raisins. The 7% Banuyls ( at 17% abv) really makes an impact. Medium body & complexity. On the sweet side, almost goes without saying with the amount of Banuyls added. Ok enough craftmanship, but really not my thing.

Flaske, 75 cl, købt lokalt i Collioure, Sydfrankrig. Klar ravfarvet. Ikke meget skum. Trist, flad i munden. Dufter af sød karamel, sur karklud, korn. Ingen eller meget lidt humle. Det er muligt, at det er en unik øl, som etiketten hævder, men den er hamrende uinteressant. Gaab.

Drinking blind from a 750ml bottle. Not so nice aroma for a beer. I smell cow manure, sulphur, oxidation and after I got to know what beer it was, I’d recognise the vinous aroma. It’s a pale orange, clear beer with a small whitish head. In the taste mainly sweetness with some bitter en sour undertones. It reminds me of grains. Low carbonation. Don’t like it much, but had worse...

Labeled Cap d’Ona Spéciale au Banyuls, stating 7% Banyuls wine is added resulting in a 5.5% beer. Foamy white unstable head over a clean copper body. Sweet aroma, with some brown sugar, raisin, cooked vegtables and sweaty yeast. Taste is exactly as expected, bit cloying, brown sugary sweetness, very mild classic hop underline. Sticky ending. Certainly not a successful experiment for me. Pass. (33cl bottle, gift from Darren and Flavia, from and drank in Ax les Termes)

Bottle. Pours brown to orange with thin white head. Aroma is malt, grapes and candy. Flavor is malt, artificial sweetener, white wine. High carbonation.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of malt, grapes, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of grapes, malt, and caramel, leading to a dry finish.

Papsoe (25059) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAR 18, 2013
Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Comes as: "Cap d’Ona Spéciale". Pours a hazy golden with an off-white head. Sweet overripe fruit, almonds and caramel in the nose. Medium body, lowish carbonation, overripe fruit, a little metal, appears rather oxidized. Not really sure I enjoy this blend. 180313
