pours lighter than expected, but definitely an amber tone. Aroma is tangy malt and sweet carmel. Flavor is rather full, definite sweet toasty malt flavors but also a decent hop bitterness at the end. Nice finish in the combo of a sweet malt and a nice lingering dry bitterness.
From tap at Barcade Brooklyn. Pours clear and golden orange with a small off white head. Grassy, straw and toasted malty. Bitter, toasted malty. Breadish and dry roasted malty. Slight caramelish to breadish. Bitterand toasted dark malty finish. Palme (4811) - Bergen, NORWAY - JUN 2, 2017
On tap @ Barcade. A blurry deep golden one with a small lasting off-white head. Smells mild hopped. Some ripe fruits and a little bit of crackers. Decent, nothing more. Easy to drink. Its mild oily in the mouth and below average on the carbonation. Not a horrible tasting lager this actually. More vienna like IMO. Biscuity in a way, a little sweetness. Kinda floral in the taste. Its nothing Im gonna remember for too long for the flavor, but Ill definitely remember it due to the time I went to Barcade in NYC. 19.06.2015 Travlr (24880) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - OCT 22, 2015
Bottle. Clear amber color, medium off white head. Aroma of toasted biscuit. Taste is malty, slightly nutty, slight earthy. Good example of the style. rjplumer (1098) - Foxboro, Massachusetts, USA - JUL 31, 2015
(12 oz.can) Mild caramel malt aroma. Hazy amber and gold body with a healthy head to start. Mild caramel malt taste with only mild bitterness. Clean and bodied finish. Well balanced and enjoyable. DSG (14784) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - JAN 9, 2015
Can sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks Amit. Clear deep gold. Aroma of malt, caramel and floral hops. Sweetish flavor with malt, floral hops, a bit of caramel and a nice bitter finish, a bit piney. Light to medium-bodied. Decent.

At Cheers, Beacon Hill, Boston, MA. Classified as amber lager, though quite bitter. Taste (and smell) actually reminding of the sea. Atheist_Peace (981) - Halifax, Nova Scotia, CANADA - JUN 2, 2014
Light amber pour, quite clear, with lots of nearly white head. Very grainy nose, almost to the point where it smells like fresh wort. There’s a little hint of caramel underneath but this is really quite one dimensional to me. The palate is about the same, but slightly better. There’s a little spicy hint that gives it at least a touch of character. This is definitely a pass. DrinkinWell (389) - - MAY 21, 2014
Pours a clear coppery amber with off-white head. Bready malty aromas. Citrus and honey notes. A pretty average lager, nothing special at all. Scrapersnbeer (1532) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - DEC 2, 2013
Spicey and nutty earthy aroma with some metallic background. Clear orange color, collapsing head. Bittersweet caramel taste, very much an English brew in this way, although it’s a lager. Crisp clean body, for medium length sessions. Okay stuff, not a match for the heavy hitters in this category. SamP01 (668) - New Jersey, USA - OCT 19, 2013
Pours a coppery amber with a medium off white head. Aroma of light caramel malt some grains and light fruity notes. Taste same as aroma with mild bitter notes. Palate is a medium body with mild carbonation. Finish is light caramel malt and grains, light bitterness and fruity notes, and a mild nutty ending. Overall not a very robust brew in flavor and aroma, just an ok brew.
