dark black with slight tan head, slightly bitter on the tongue, vague aromas of pumpkin and malt and cocoa. decent pumpkin stout, but not in the same class as Souther Tier Warlock. Beerathon (1683) - Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 30, 2013
This has got to be one of the best pumpkin beers on the market today. Big alcohol warmth of an imperial stout with a nice pumpkin spice additive. Practically black with a big creamy cocoa head that leaves lacing. This is quality, and I’m not even a pumpkin beer fan. dmac (6429) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - NOV 17, 2013
22oz bomber from Wine Academy. Poured a silky pitch black with an average sized foamy deep beige head. Aroma of pumpkin spice, pumpkin pie filling, moist pie crust, light chocolate pudding. BIg full body that is soft and delicate from light carbonation and a milkshake feel overall, big and chewy. Flavor of chocolate pudding, pupkin pie spices, moist pie crusts, dark toast, cinnamon, vanilla extract. Solid beer here. Lubiere (14133) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 14, 2013
A deep dark stout with a thin dark lacing brown head. In aroma, a sweet musty chocolate malt with pumpkin spices, ginger and cloves, OK. In mouth, a nice sweet chocolate malt with powdery character, light spices, nutmeg, OK. On tap at Rattle N Hum. snoworsummer (5956) - baltimore, Maryland, USA - SEP 22, 2013
Draft. Pours very dark opaque brown with a thin off white head. Tastes bitter and dry, with coffee, chocolate, and pumpkin flavors. Light body and medium carbonation. Smells like sweet coffee, caramel, and pumpkin.

Bottle to glass. Dark brown pour with a thin white head. Smooth mouth feel, pumpkin, spices, good. Try this one. beerbill (3619) - Laurel, New York, USA - MAY 6, 2013
On draught at the brewpub back in January. Arrived black with a light brown head. Very pleasant aroma of pumpkin, spices, roasted malt, and molasses. The flavor is even more enchanting than the aroma with ample pumpkin, spices, roasted malt, molasses, and vanilla. My favorite beer of the day at the brewery! I love a good pumpkin brew and this one delivers for me. Pours black with a tan head and big aroma of nutmeg, cinnamon, and pumpkin. Taste is just the right amount of pumpkin and spices and not overpowering. Body is medium which I wish it was a little bigger, but still a well done beer. Carbonation is a little light as well and getting that up will help a lot. Heathen (1500) - Wilmington, Delaware, USA - MAY 3, 2013
THOUGHTS: Mostly a very nice imperial stout, but then there are subtle, underlying pumpkin and spice flavors and aromas. The warmer it got the more pumpkin that was. Hid alcohol fairly well. much more spice in the aroma than in the flavor. An imperial stout first and a pumpkin beer second.
TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a dark brown that was basically opaque black in the glass but with red highlights at the edges and an average tan head that mostly diminished and left barely fair lacing. The aroma had moderate roasted malt, chocolate and coffee; light and fruity pumpkin, slight and increasing underlying, vegetal pumpkin when warmest. The initial flavor was lightly sweet and slightly bitter; while the finish was moderately sweet, lightly bitter and slightly sour with a surprisingly average duration. There was chocolate, roasted malt, a little coffee, chocolate syrup; lightly sweet pumpkin, slightly sour pumpkin, pumpkin pie spices, mores spices and pumpkins. The medium to full body was a little oily with very tingly carbonation and a light to moderately astringent finish. zvikar (6348) - Ramat Gan, ISRAEL - FEB 6, 2013
