Bottle from perfect Pour. Cola color and nice ead. A bit of a light stout but pleasant and the pumpkin and spices are subtile. jredmond (8518) - New York, New York, USA - OCT 3, 2012
Draft at blind tiger with Andrew. Pours a deep brown body with no head. Aroma is spice, light cinnamon, faint ready malt and cigar. Mouthfeel is medium with notes of smoky cigar, light spice, nutmeg and light roasted chocolate malts. Very easy drinking for 11%. jkwood04 (5463) - Connecticut, USA - SEP 26, 2012
22oz bottle in a snifter. Pours black with a lacy, beige head. Aroma of pumpkin, spices, roasted and chocolate malts, and some floral hops. Flavor has a nice blend of pumpkin and spices with the roasted malts. Smooth texture. One of the best pumpkin beers I’ve had. AirForceHops (7693) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - SEP 4, 2012
Draft @ brew pub. Standard pint glass shows deep black with quickly diminishing tan head. Light aroma of cinnamon, nutmeg and pumpkin. Flavor was chocolates, coffee, pumpkin, general roasted malts. Not overly strong in the pumpkin spice with is great. A bit of lactose sweetness. Nice creamy texture with a full body.
If you like Stout and pumpkin, this is a homerun. This is nice.

Courtesy of craftycarl21! Thanks! Sweet pumpkin pie with hints of chocolaty mocha, brown sugar, and nutmeg. Silken milk chocolate, cocoa nib, and cinnamon-nutmegwith a brownie finish. Medium to full body with a sweet succulent finish. craftycarl21 (2339) - Seattle, Washington, USA - APR 25, 2012
22 oz. bottle. Black pour with a beautiful frothy light brown head that lingers nicely. Nose holds all of those classic pumpkin notes, with cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin flesh, brown sugar and molasses, and touches of chocolate malt. Flavor brings a bit more roasted malt out, but still mostly those pumpkin notes. Crisp carbonation that finishes pretty quickly. Exceptionally drinkable. Solid. Draft at the Stags Head. Pours dark with fluffy milkshake head. nose of spice and cocoa. tastes very chocolaty, coffee, caramel, roasted malt, nutmeg, smoke, and pumpkin. Travlr (25828) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - FEB 29, 2012
Bottle. Almost black, tiny brown head. Aroma of spice, coffee, gourd. Taste is rich chocolate, coffee, nutmeg, cinnamon, gourd finish. Not bad. mnoud (318) - Martinsburg, West Virginia, USA - JAN 25, 2012
650ml bottle in pint glass. Pours dark brown with some clarity. Caramel colored head is active only long enough to cover the surface, then recedes to the edges, with a minor bit of lacing. Mouthfeel is not creamy/malty but more light and straightforward. Little carbonation. Taste is good. Clearly spiced. I’m not getting "pumpkin" spices or taste per se, but it’s tasty. Mild bite on the front end. Pretty good.
