This is the first trial of a Cream Ale that has an infusion of hops added to it in the lagering stage. We are trying to create a beer where the aroma and flavor are very hop forward, yet the finish remains smooth and non-bitter.

12oz bottle, poured into pint glass. Pours like appejuice, golden, little head. Nice piney hops scent right off the bat. The 34 IBU's seems a perfect mesh with the not too noticeable cream. This is a rather nice ipa that hints at a cream ale. Great balance, smooth palate, fine finish! Definitely recommend, as the name may ward off the right consumers!

Aroma is grassy hops and mild nutty/sweet maltiness. The flavor is citrus hops, mild cream overtones and a mildly sweet malty finish.

Another solid offering from Capital. Medium orange amber with a l-o-o-o-n-g lasting white head, and full swirls of lace. Taste begins with a sweet caramel malt, which is quickly overtaken by mild, but persistent, hops. The hop bitter continues through the finish, actually lasting far beyond normal expectations. A good combination. Recommended.

Bottle. Mostly clear orange pour with a white head. Aroma is cream soda with a touch of hops. Medium to lighter palate. Taste is cream, light hop, with a clean finish. Nice.

Pours hazy gold with little bit of white head. Slightly floral hop aroma. Little it of metallic taste up front, I think that’s just me though, I get it with alot of beers and I don’t know why. After that fades away its a pretty smooth cream ale with a some hoppyness to it. little bit of sweetness to it and some piney hops. Not really bitter at all, but it has plenty of interesting flavor. Pretty unique good stuff.

Light copperish gold.Slight head leaving a bit of foam/lacing. Pretty fresh strong hop aroma of fruit/floral.Buscuit and a sweet toasted carmel with a bit of a metallicy lager note that seem common in lagers and octoberfests, very nice aroma really. Taste has some same qualities. Its smooth with a grainy sweetness slight creamyness, slight toastyness-light-light med body, a citrusy/peppery finish and bite, pretty hoppy flavor overall. The citrusy/pepper bite balances the sweetness.Im thinking this is pretty damn fresh.Almost a pale ale but alot smoother.Very sessionable ,its not that bitter but has that tangy carbonated citrusy sting to it.Quite enjoyable beer.Name is fitting.

Pours pale gold with a thin, creamy, off white head. Aroma is citrus, tart berries, a hint of green tea, a little caramel, fruity yeast and mineral notes. Flavor is caramel, yeasty bread, lots more citrus and green tea. Lightish body with a slightly creamy, slightly dry entry, light, but fairly sharp carbonation and off dry finish. Interesting stuff, they definitely accomplished their goal of packing a good amount of hop aroma and flavor with minimal bitterness. I like it, though I wouldn’t mind a bit more bitterness.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear dark gold/light amber with thin white head. Smells of light citrusy hops. Tastes of fruity hops and some caramel. Not a bad summer beer.

UPDATED: DEC 11, 2013 On tap at brewery, pours a dark golden/amber with a soapy white head and lacing, the aroma has nice hop forward touch, the flavor has a good amount of malt and sweetness with a finish of hops, pretty balanced overall, I would drink this again in a heartbeat when I visit the next time.
