2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Single bottle from Lemon Tree. Not sure why Capital is pumping out the pale lagers. I’m really not interested in trying all of them side-by-side to see if they’re any different. This starts with oxidation under the cap. Pale yellow under a foamy head that at least clings to glass a bit. Smell in the glass is the usual pale malt, though there may be a bit more hop at work. Taste is more of the pale lagers malt, but at least it seems to be all malt, and just a slight bit more German hop at work. Not much more than a sneeze, but a decent fishing beer.
Light golden with an off-white head. Light grain, citrus and wheat in the aroma. Flavors match the aromas. It’s got to be really hot and dry before I think I will really appreciate this one. 5/13

Bottle- the pour is cloudy and a sandy blond in color with a medium white head that is smooth and creamy. The aroma is yeast, slightly sweet, and hints of apples. The taste is malts, corn, and a little yeast. The finish is slightly sweet and a little watery. A good refreshing beer, not overly bright but clean. unclefrito62 (276) - Stow, Ohio, USA - JUL 14, 2016

Aroma’s beer and minerals, hint of refinery. Flavor’s on the sweet side. Kind of reminds me a bit of a world beer. Totally forgettable. Lingering sweet finish that isn’t refreshing at all. GT (10000) - San Diego, California, USA - JUN 8, 2016
Tap at Capital Brewing. Low haze gold pour with good foam. Neutral nose of honey malt. Flavor is heavier than expected, salty, some butterscotch, mild diacetyl slickness. Easy drinking, low bitterness, not too sweet.

Bottle, thanks George999! Light caramel malt aroma with just a touch of citrus. Pours clear golden colored with a virtually nonexistent white head with no retention or lacing. Starts very malty with a little bit of caramel. Finishes crisp and clean with a bit of lemony citrus. Good, refreshing beer for hot summer days, but nothing to write home about. arkurzynski (2427) - Combined Locks, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 15, 2015
Pale gold. Decaying vegetal hops and adjunct. Flavor is adjunct and more vegetal hopping. Lingering metallic notes and diacetyl. troyc (2869) - Illinois, USA - MAR 4, 2015
[Tap] Pours a dull yellow color with some fizzy white foam on top. Nose of cereal grains, mild grass and floral hops. Sweet and grainy flavors mix with light corn syrup and straw. Light cracker malts and hints of perfume in the taste as well. Simple, but not bad. Tasting notes from 8/2014. RRistow12 (864) - Lewis Center, Ohio, USA - JAN 16, 2015
Tasted from bottle. Pours a slightly hazy gold with white head. Aroma is grassy and grains with some herbal notes. Taste is very smooth with no detectable bitterness. Grassy, grains, corn, perfume. Moderate sweet and light bodied. Excellent for a pale lager, probably the best I've had.
