Pours a nice clear golden amber with white foam. Has some good looking carbonation going in the glass.
Aroma is light malt with a tiny bit of hop.
Taste is malt with a bit of sweetness and a little hop to balance it out. Well balanced.
Light palate with good carbonation.
Overall a great beer. Very clean taste and easy to drink. Overall probably my favorite Maibock. I look forward to it in the spring. jjuf1853 (1302) - Land O Lakes, Florida, USA - AUG 14, 2012

Hazy light orange with a good sized white head. Light bready aroma, caramel, sweet hay. Grassy and herbal, lightly sweet, easy drinking. 86Moose (62) - - JUL 15, 2012
This beer pours light amber with a clean white head. A lot of visible carbonation. A fruity citrus aroma. Sweet taste with a smooth finish. This beer goes down very nicely. No surpirse it rates so high in its class. rondphoto (4468) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - JUL 3, 2012
Warm golden amber with a clean white head and big streaks of lace. Taste starts with a full-bodied semi-sweet caramel malt. As it grows through the palate, soft carbonation joins in until a clean, light, hop-bittering brings everything back into line at the finish. This is a well-balanced brew that is a pleasure to drink. Well conceived, good looking, easy drinking, a terrific light session beer. Highly recommended.

On tap at the brewery, pours a dark golden/orange with an off white head and some lacing, aroma is sweet with caramel and some molasses, flavor has a sweet front end with a finish of caramel, not terrible. whitebear (41) - - APR 30, 2012
A dark gold to light amber with little to no head retention. Aroma is of light floral. Taste is a medium maibock with lingering spice Aurelius (5380) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - APR 27, 2012
Sweetish, cakey malt aroma with some light vanilla and a little twang. Pours a bright orange, with a thin nearly-white head. Good label and cap, twistoff longneck. Nice, even bitterness, not very sweet, maybe a wee bit of brine to it. Medium body, a tad on the light side -- or perhaps that’s just the impression that it gives because it is a clean-drinking brew. A woody-bitter finish. This would be a good barbeque beer -- it’s just a good ’with food’ brew. ABC, Betton. PorterPounder (8081) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - APR 27, 2012
Tallahassee, FL - New Leaf Market - 12 oz bottle. Pours a medium copper, light off-white head. Slightly sweet aroma, hints of caramel, a touch of molasses. Flavor is full-bodied and sweet in just the right way. Pick up some nutty notes, a bit of caramel, hints of chocolate, finish of molasses. Mouthfeel is smooth. Overall, nice. wingzing85 (8) - Iowa City, Iowa, USA - APR 25, 2012 does not count
Nice clear amber red color with a decent head with very little lacing. A balanced beer.
