Hazy copper pour small off white head good lacing. Sweet citrus and caramel aroma. Average palate. A crisp citrus with amid bitterness level that lingers a touch piney in the finish. Good not great lacks a bit of malt balance. kaser (6430) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 25, 2014
Cloudy orange pour at grape escape in galena. Spicy aroma. Dank floral and apricot notes. Not very good. Will get it down the hatch though cavnar (13) - Pace, Florida, USA - DEC 31, 2013
Got some of this in Florida. After moving away from WI these are hard to come by. But this is your average IPA. Nice citrus aroma and taste, but a rather simple IPA. jrussell9109 (14) - Fairbury, Illinois, USA - DEC 27, 2013
Poured 12oz bottle, fresh 6 pack. Pours an unclouded amber color. Smells of hops and caramel. It has a nice hop flavor that is light to medium body. Not really a good representation of a IPA’s. Christpuncher (3215) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 21, 2013
An average ipa at best. Very fruity and not too hoppy. Smells malty. Had this at my brother in laws house.

deep hazy gold with a lacy medium beige head. Aroma is malt, hops, grass. taste is full and hoppy. finish is hops and a nice nasal linger. Good beer! jcr (2785) - Jasper, Indiana, USA - NOV 24, 2013
Draft. Light amber body. Frothy white head. Light aroma of toasted grain, citrus, lemon, sweet grapefruit. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Inoffensive and easy drinking. On the sweet side. Hazy, amber-orange pour with a white head. The aroma is packed with citrus and floral hops. It has a light, somewhat thin texture with lively carbonation. The taste is moderately bitter, especially in the finish. esjaygee (3902) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 1, 2013
Clear golden amber with a frothy white slowly fading topper. Aroma is a floral citrus mix with caramel and grains. Taste is sweet with citrus, caramel and middle-of-the-road malt. Zippy finish with average bitterness. jmagnus87 (3302) - Rockford, Illinois, USA - OCT 22, 2013
Bottle at a friends tasting. From notes. Floral and pine with a huge citrus nose and taste. Probably one of the better capital beers I’ve had.
