12 oz. bottle, consumed on 6-9-13. Fresh, hoppy aroma features tonic water, seltzer, and lime scents. Nice but simple smell. Pours an orange-tinged deep gold with a large amount of fluffy, off-white head. Liquid is clear with some effervescence. Produces good lacing. Good-looking beer. Dry taste features a mineral water element. Simple flavor but pretty good. Light to medium body. Lively and soft in the palate. Probably more enjoyable than this score implies, but too simple (i.e., lacks the complexity of a standout brew). cbfobes (2888) - Quad Cities, Illinois, USA - APR 12, 2013
Poured from 12oz bottle, pours a clear dark golden with a nice white head and lacing through the glass, looks nice, the aroma is pretty sweet with more biscuit and bread coming through than hops, the flavor has a light front end and a little kick of hops in the finish, the mouthfeel is pretty light and the finish is dry, just seemed pretty thin through out, glad to see Capital expanding their styles a little bit, but this one isn’t going to be their big seller. troyc (2869) - Illinois, USA - APR 9, 2014
[Bottle] Pours a lighter shade of amber. Little head. Prickly carbonation. Biscuity nose. Moderate levels of floral hops in the aroma and taste. Dry, grainy and somewhat astringent. Lighter body. Lingering black tea notes blend with hops in the finish. An easy drinker. Tasting notes from 2/2014. TXBadger (2811) - Dallas, Texas, USA - APR 22, 2014
Pours a nice amber color. Pine and citrus on the nose. Grassy pine and grapefruit on the palate. Malty on the finish. More of an everyday type of IPA. jcr (2785) - Jasper, Indiana, USA - NOV 24, 2013
Draft. Light amber body. Frothy white head. Light aroma of toasted grain, citrus, lemon, sweet grapefruit. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Inoffensive and easy drinking. On the sweet side.

Hazy copper pour small off white head good lacing. Sweet citrus and caramel aroma. Average palate. A crisp citrus with amid bitterness level that lingers a touch piney in the finish. Good not great lacks a bit of malt balance. fidelis83 (2535) - Clinton, Iowa, USA - JAN 13, 2015
Slightly hazy amber to copper pour with a 3 finger, creamy beige head that has excellent retention and leaves decent lacing. Fruity, caramel, soapy hops, citrus peel, light pine, lots of planty hops. Creamy entry, medium carbonation, still creamy off dry finish. Decent. arkurzynski (2460) - Combined Locks, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 30, 2013
Bottle. Clear pale amber pour with white head. Nose is too clean with mild pine hops and lager/pale malt dominating. Flavor is a sweet, lightly biscuity malt with a moderate pine bitterness that lingers and is fairly drying. Needs more hop aromatics and less of a dry finish. Overall, an okay offering, but forgettable. portableparty (2398) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - AUG 5, 2013
12 oz. can. Pours orange amber with a thin off white head that dissipates to a wispy film. Aroma has bitter dry piny hops that also show earthiness. Taste is more bitter dry earthy piny hops some sweet floral grain and a lingering fruit floral flavor. Palate is thin and dry. For 9.99 a 12 pack this shit rocks!
