12 ounce bottle This has the appearance of Duvel without the meringue head. Clear, yellow with great carbonation. Fluffy white head that disappears over a few minutes leaving a nice lacing. Good yeasty aromas with the usual spices of Belgian Pales- clove and fruit. Good spiciness on the tongue. Crisp and refreshing for a beer approaching 10% ABV. I can see drinking this one through the summer. Close to being a pilsner with the crispness.

Pours orange yellow with foamy head. Sweet clove, spice, and malt aroma. Overly sweet and slightly chemical taste. Good choice replacing with the WIld RIce this past summer.

unclemattie (4406) - Georgia, USA - JAN 9, 2010
12oz twist-off bottle. Golden pour. Musty nose of mustard, eggs, and bread. 300lbs of sugar? What was the O.G.? and only 6.7% ABV, strange. A very large batch? Very bold and sharp flavor. Threw me back a bit. Literally. Finishes very dry. A tad too bitter. This beer tastes too much like VOMIT. Dry, bitter, and not palatable.

shp555 (2024) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - JAN 3, 2010
Pours a golden color with an off white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, clove, honey, sugary, banana, and vanilla. Flavor is grainy, honey, floral, clove, and bitter astringent spicy finish.

12oz bottle- Pours a clear golden with a nice full off white head and an aroma of yeast, coriander, cloves, and grass. Taste is of the same with a little coriander and sugars thrown in. This light to medium bodied brew is not bad. The Belgian flavors grow on you and you drink more. Nice brew.

bu11zeye (13239) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - NOV 20, 2008

UPDATED: MAR 9, 2009 Grass, yeast, and spice in the aromas. Pours a clear medium amber, white head, ongoing sparkle, nice lace. Yeasty body with a wide range of spices: coriander, clove, cinnamon, gumball. Sweet but not cloying. Finishes with citrus, bitter, and a bit of a rubbery off-flavor. Juicy mouthfeel, slightly warming.
