Straw color with a modest, slightly diminishing off-white head. Lightly citric and pale malt nose. Feel is light and airy. Close to being fizzy, but not quite. Light sweet malt a touch of floral hops. Light sweet pale malt into the finish and linger. Just a bit of grass and citrus in the finish to make it crisp and light. A easy drinking premium lager with no faults. 2/10 GuenSmith (28) - Wisconsin, USA - JUL 5, 2015
Smells like you opened a can of white label "beer" no exceptional notes of anything exciting. Appearance is pleasing with a nice two inch head that remainsfor some time. Slides smoothly across the palate, with a lingering bready note on the end. The initial taste is clean, with a slightly hopped middle and a bready backside. Overall a good easy drinking beer, comparable to main line mass produced beers. dukeandduke (263) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 20, 2015
3/20/15 (Bottle) - Light golden pour, nice pillow head, mild carbonation. Not much aroma. Mile malt taste and feel. Meh. BeerInHeaven (446) - Brillion, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 17, 2015
Pours a rich straw gold with a medium semi lacy head. Aroma is hay/grass. Taste is clean. Nice malt balance with moderate sweetness. Brief dry finish. Not much aftertaste. Not my style, but pleasant and refreshing. Ratman197 (14698) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - DEC 10, 2014
Bottle poured a clear gold with a small lingering white head. Aromas of bread, earthiness, light yeast and a hint of fruitiness. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of bread, toasted malt and light yeast with a crisp finish.

Bottle - Pours a clear golden with a smallish white head. Aroma of semi-sweet malt. Caramel and grass notes, fairly full and sweet with a clean finish. Enjoyable lager. EyeAmBaldman (461) - Illinois, USA - SEP 21, 2014
Pours a pale yellow with a thick white head from the bottle that dissipates quickly. Notes a barley in the aroma. No lacing in the glass. Taste is a nice clean lager with a light mouthfeel. Light carbonation in the mouth. Taste is kind of like a light beer. Very nice clean finish. drdisque (830) - Illinois, USA - SEP 19, 2014
From a can poured in a lager glass. Initial slightly sharp bite that is just enough to make it taste quenching. Mellows out into a superbly well balanced lager. Great all-around lawnmower beer. One of the best. Will have to pick some of this up. ARH (1125) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 27, 2014
12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Thereís an initial burst of lemon on the nose, but this fades quickly and gives way to a crusty bread note. Thereís also hints of damp cardboard, and a sugary candy caramel. It pours a clear, effervescent, yellow orange color with an active, soda-like, white head that evaporated very quickly. Small bubbles continue to stream up, but they burst almost as soon as they hit the surface. A very thin, soapy ring is left behind with a clear surface, and no lace. Itís a medium-high, syrupy sweetness with a light bitter note to mellow it out some. The slick, waxy texture has an above average amount of soft, fuzzy carbonation and a medium malty body. Notes of mineral water, a dry, sweet, white wine are noted on the tongue. Some caramel and toasted bread come through more on the finish. The aftertaste keeps the bread and the minerals lingering and the caramel becomes more honey-like. ClarkVV (6644) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - APR 26, 2014
Can from Binnys, drunk 4/18/14
Not much head to speak of. White cluster of bubbles runs for the edges. Clear waxy-yellow looking body is well-carbonated.
Clean, at least, is the nose. Very little hop character to speak of, but I guess thatís what theyíre going for. Maybe a touch of pepperiness. Mostly just white bread sugars from the malt. Touch of vanilla light mineral.
Fairly watery, again mostly clean, with some waxiness and vanilla that are perhaps a bit unwanted but none of the majors offenders of the style; dms, diacetyl, acetaldehyde, etc...Well-attenuated and certainly quite drinkable. I guess I was expecting something a little more characterful from Capital, since their other beers are so delicious, but this is what itís billed as and you canít fault it for that.
