Bottle, thanks George999! Big biscuit malt aroma with notes of citrus hops and caramel malt. Pours clear golden colored with a thin off white head that has excellent retention and lacing. Starts with sweet biscuity malt as well as some caramel malt. Finishes dry, but smooth with light citrus and grassy hop bitterness. A little sweet for a pale, but a refreshing beer nonetheless. Tap at Capital Brewing in Middleton, WI. Hazy blonde pour with decent head formation. Nose is mild orange citrus, celery. Flavor is very dense for style like a lot of Capital’s beers: thick and chewy, salty, big bready malt base, some celery flavors. drpimento (3634) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 19, 2016
Very slight aroma of paper and a little hops. Flavor’s oxidized hops, fruit, soap, paper, not good. Don’t want to drink the rest of this. johnnymusky (983) - Minnesota, USA - AUG 10, 2015
Very average beer...mouth is all malt and biscuit...nose is kind of a yuck smell...not that great.. Travlr (24745) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - AUG 9, 2015
Draft at the source. Clear golden orange color. Aroma of orange peel. Taste is mixed citrus and butter.

Pours hazy amber with white head. Aroma is very malty, mostly caramel. Very nice caramel malt character. Little bit of citrus and pine from the hops. Nice well balanced refreshing pale ale. kaser (6312) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 9, 2014
Poured at home from 12oz can. Golden clear color, white head. Musty lager aroma. No hops or bitterness. Taste has a hint of honey and fruit. Overall a pretty pedestrian pale ale, but it is pretty easy drinking on the bright side. slowrunner77 (12044) - Reno, Nevada, USA - OCT 5, 2014
"i agree with phishpond’s "weak on the hops" assertation. maybe i got an off batch, but this was one boring ass beer. my notes on this one say beer flavored water. not exactly what i look for in an apa."

Medium copper, translucent pour with a small head that leaves a bit of lace. Aroma is fairly mild with a bit of citrus and straw. Flavor follows suit. Medium body with slightly sticky mouthfeel. Bulk_Carrier (6065) - Vermont, USA - JUL 21, 2014
Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a decent hazy orange looking color with a slight transparency about it that allowed a fair carbonation to be seen rising.
There was less than a finger’s worth of head.
The smell was based around some light sweet pine with just a tad of light sweet caramel malt.
The taste was mainly sweet around the piney hops and sweet caramel malts.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. There’s nothing off and there’s nothing spectacular about it.
Overall, an everyday APA worthy of having again and would probably be a pretty good pizza beer.
