Bottle. Pours light golden with a small white head. Aroma is sort of boring sweet caramel, biscuit and light piney hops. Flavor the same, lots of caramel, piney lightly bitter finish, bland, and generic pale ale. Medium body and a soft carbonation. Meh

Citrus and a hint of tea in the aroma. The flavor is mildly hoppy with the malts, possibly caramel, almost tipping the flavor towards more malty than hoppy. Not really as hoppy as most APAs are but a decent session ale and not too far from the standard of the style.

(12oz bottle, courtesy of Cavie) Pours a clear golden body with a small white head. Aroma of grain, grass, florals, and herbs. Flavor of citrus, grain, light pine, and caramel with somewhat dry finish.

This beer is really pretty decent, but still nothing much to it. I like some more complexity.

This site is so guilty of lacking a "value" rating that someone needs to be painfully punished. Strong hop & barley nose. The head leaves a nice lacing but otherwise dies quickly. Hearty bitterness on the palate. Surprisingly light mouth feel. Floral aftertaste bitter but very watery finish!!! No maltyness what-so-ever!!!!! This is good, but not worth the price they want for it. Not at all.

From notes. 12oz can from Old Chicago poured into a shaker. Pours a crystal clear, light orange color. Not much head but what is there is bright white. Aroma is all hops. Spruce and resin. Taste is medium bitter. It sort of tastes the way pine needles smell. Medium bodied with a distinctly oily texture. Overall, this one is pretty good. I would buy it again if I ever found it locally.

3.3
Cavie (4760) - Arlington, Texas, USA - AUG 8, 2011
Bottle. Pours a clear orange color with a white fizzy head. Aroma is sweet sugar, easy floral hops and light malts. Flavor is dry, peanutty, light earthy hops, and malts. Not very hoppy but pretty flavorful.

3.4
jebert (500) - Watertown, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 1, 2011
Pours an amber gold with a thin but lasting crown of off white foam. Nose is hops. Nice and creamy on the palate, the taste is malt on the front end with mostly hops on the finish, not overly bitter. A well brewed pale ale that accompanies smoked turkey or smoke salmon very well.

dutch23mp (317) - Mount Prospect, Illinois, USA - MAR 12, 2011
presents well poured in a shaker with a decent white head. Not much aroma to this puppy. The hoppy taste really is refreshing and has earthly feel on the palate a good beer.

Can. Pours a light pale golden with a small white head. Aroma...smells like it’s a bit older. Sweet and caramely with every little hops presence, and what is there is a touch piney and very dumbed down to the sweet candy. Flavor is a touch hoppier but only in the lightly bitter finish. Still mostly malty candy caramel and toffee. Light to medium body and a sharp carbonation. Bleh, this isn’t tasting great
