Rich gold with light white head. Faint nose with some light hops. Light mouthfeel with sweet/bitter finish(light). Light roasted flavors with some carmel and candy notes. Nice light brew though not much of a winter warmer! JK (6251) - St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA - JAN 4, 2005
Very large rocky head. Copper colored. Strange chemical aroma with malt. Flavor is malt, sweet carmel, and a bitter hop finish. notalush (5910) - Lakewood, Colorado, USA - MAR 9, 2007
Bottlefrom Ughsmash (thanks!) - copper body with a tiny ring of lace - weak, herbal aroma, with a light, doughy sweetness - lightly sweet, with hints of vegetable and a faint hop profile - lingering breadiness in the finish -fairly unimpressive. phishpond417 (2088) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - APR 24, 2008
Poured a dark reddish brown colour, with a medium sized tan head. Aroma has something of vanilla, lightly toasted malts and a little caramel. Mouthfeel is light and creamy, taste is soft and mildly acidic. finishes long. jstraw (1967) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 20, 2008
Clear amber with good, foamy off-white head / Minimal nose of corn syrup / Medium body, sweet, with some syrupy malts, with decent finish / Flavors of corn syrup and artificial caramel / Below average.

This beer is really pretty decent, but still nothing much to it. I like some more complexity. spilledpint (352) - Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA - MAR 7, 2012
12 oz bottle drom steves madison.
Ar: Dominant malt aroma. Bread dough, biscuit malt and a touch of caramel. A bit overly malty sweet aroma for me. Touch of apicyness.
Ap: Pours a clear amber with a one inch off white head. Decent retention and nice rings of lace.
T: Pretty sweet corn and biacuity and caramel malt flavora. Hop profike is very mild, what character is there is a touch of vlack pepper and some grassy coriander.
P: Medium body with assertive carbonation.
O: Not nearly as into thisnbeer as i am with cap amber. Just too much sticky zweet malt. TheHOFF43 (2052) - Robbinsdale, Minnesota, USA - DEC 3, 2012
Tap at Old Chicago-Uptown. Pours a clear copper. Aroma is spices. Flavor is meh, at best. Nothing too special here. Lots of spices and malts but nothing stands out.
UPDATED: FEB 5, 2011 Fairly spicy and moderately roasted with a touch of hops are the primary characteristics of this medium bodied beer. I was surprised they called it a Vienna on here. Also somewhat strong alcohol note for its somewhat restrained ABV.
