A solid, malt emphasized lager, the firey hued richness perfectly balanced by clean hop bittering.

UPDATED: OCT 16, 2012 Smell is light malt and some hops. Like a lager. Looks like an amber. Smells like an amber, tastes like an amber. Medium light body. Taste is balanced and crisp. Very drinkable.

Smells a little skunky, fortunately doesn’t taste that way. Flavor doesn’t come across as really anything but grain; there’s substance here but it’s sour, not warm or savory. I don’t taste hops at all; there’s some sharpness but I think it may simply be carbonation. Closer to an Oktoberfest than an amber, but not an outstanding example of either style.

DRAFT at Tuscan Grill in Lake Geneva...went well with the eggplant parm...Clear amber color with thin head...Sweet nose with hint of caramel...good balance of hoppy bitterness and malty mellowness...nice bitter finish...tasty

Pours a clear amber with a one finger head that quickly dissipates leaving little lacing. Caramel malt with herbal hops. Slightly sweet initially, then turns slightly bitter. Long bitter finish. Fizzy carbonation with clean palate. Not bad.

Draft at Brass Tap Trinity. Pours a clear amber color with a small white head. Some lacing along the glass. Caramel malty aroma. Flavor is a nice balance between the hops and malt with just of touch of bitterness in the finish.

Sweet, palatable, easy finish. Wish we had it down in NC, one of my favorites. Similar to leinenkugel with the flavor notes and high quality.

Drank from a 12oz. bottle. Not very impressed by the aroma or taste. Had a burnt taste to it.

Drank from a 12 oz bottle. An interesting amber. I'm not sure if the sour taste I'm experiencing is burnt caramel or oxidation from age. Not my favorite. Maybe it's better on tap. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
