Good representation of a Vienna, although nowhere near as good as Elliot Ness. Nice sweet malty flavor and aftertaste. Fairly full-bodied for an Amber, I would try this one again. crossovert (14128) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 9, 2013
12 oz twist off. Amber to golden pour with a fizzy offwhite head that sticks for awhile and fizzes away with some small splotches of lacing. Smell is light. Vienna malts, baked bread, and some slight herbal/earthy hops. Flavor is herbal hops, rich malt, caramel, low bitterness. Finish is malty with a hint of bitterness. The mouthfeel is the only low point of this beer, it is quite watery though its flavor is robust. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - SEP 5, 2005
(12oz bottle) Clear amber body with medium off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet, malty -- caramel, bread. Taste is medium sweet, caramel, bread, light sourness and a bit of spiciness. No hop characteristics noticeable. Light-medium body. slowrunner77 (13205) - Reno, Nevada, USA - JUN 6, 2017
Can from Tavour pours a darker amber color. Aroma is bready malt with a little caramel and citrus. Medium body, a little spritzy. Flavor is malt leaning, with a touch of back end bitterness. Caramel, cracker, nuts, grapefruit. Everything subtle and light. hopdog (13191) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 15, 2006
12oz bottle. Poured a medium and slightly hazy amber color with a huge (4.5 finger) off white head. Aromas of citrus, grapefruit, some spices and light caramel. Contrary to the description, I found the aromas to be on the hoppy side. Tastes of caramel, grain and some oranges. Faint hops in the taste vs. the aroma. Thinner body.
