Amber in color with a nice head. Aroma of sweet malt with light flowery hops. Clean and sweet in flavor and it finishes very smooth. Goes down really easy. starewich (170) - - OCT 4, 2012
Smells a little skunky, fortunately doesn’t taste that way. Flavor doesn’t come across as really anything but grain; there’s substance here but it’s sour, not warm or savory. I don’t taste hops at all; there’s some sharpness but I think it may simply be carbonation. Closer to an Oktoberfest than an amber, but not an outstanding example of either style. Amber color with a thin white head. Good aroma is greeted by a sweet malt finish balanced by a moderate hop flavor. A little thin in body. Very satisfying. TechMyst (167) - Fox River Grove, Illinois, USA - SEP 20, 2006

pours a clear amber color with a nice white head that hangs around for a bit, a small bit of hops and malt aroma with the hops coming apparent in the taste along with a nice sweet carmel flavor...a nice beer that would be a second to wisconsin's best vienna...Lakefront Riverwest...good beer otherwise

UPDATED: APR 22, 2008 Pretty good stuff. I did like the smooth malty flavor coupled with slight hops. Sweet and drinkable. Malts are a little chewy. Well balanced beer and a perfect grilling beer. On tap Hoover Ave. Ale House. DCopperfields (146) - New York, USA - DEC 25, 2003
Copper brew, white head. Not outstanding, but good as one would expect.
Smells of malt, a little like toasted sourdough.
Taste is smooth, medium mouthfeel. A little on the roasty side, and a perfect session brew. Cheers to Capital as my first brew this Christmas day, 2003.
