Draught at the brewpub. Weak malty aroma. Clear dark amber colour. No head to speak of. The flavour is dark malty, sweetish with a vinous touch. Slightly spicy. Well-made. Thorpe429 (5122) - , Illinois, USA - APR 13, 2011
Reviewed from notes. On tap at the DC location.
Pours a moderate copper color with a light white head and not too much lacing. The nose is some slight bread with a bit of sweetness. Mild caramel notes. The taste isn’t really much other than a bit of light bread. Light to medium body with good carbonation. No faults, but pretty plain and unremarkable.
