At grill. Fairly clear. Slight haze decent aroma. Really good tasting crisp brew. A little astringent but I actually thought this was not a downer. Crisp finish. I could hang out at the bar and drink this for a long time.

FROTHINGSLOSH (7796) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 3, 2017
Sampled on draft the brewpub this beer poured a golden amber color with a medium sized foamy yellow-white head that left great lacing. The aroma was faint fruity hops and a bit of butter. The flavor was sweetish, buttery and mildly bitter with a fruity hop note. Long buttery and fruity finish. Medium body. Meh.

Tap at the D.C. venue. Pours dark gold with a white head. Aroma of citrus and roasty malt. Malt is not obscured by hop - which is plentiful. Decently bitter. But malty.

Another good beer with nothing wrong but nothing outstanding. All of their core beers have a similar theme - good flavor but not memorable.

Draught @ the brewpub, Downtown DC. Pours clear dark amber with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of malt, yeast and caramel. Sweetish flavour of caramel malt, mwith bready and estery touches, and notes of hops. Bitter and somewhat bready aftertaste. Okay but not a typical pale ale.

Draft sampler at Capitol Hill location on July 11, 2009. Dark golden color with a hint of amber, sweet and hoppy aroma, nicely balanced malt and hop flavor for the most part, with hops becoming more prominent as the glass warms. Could be a little bolder but all in all a pretty good beer.
