Tap at the Shirlington location. Slightly hazy light orange pour with a spotty head. Lighter palate, some yeast, bread, and plum. Not bad. ivan9856 (192) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - NOV 21, 2012
20 oz. draft; cloudy orange/amber body with small, tight white head that disappeared quickly but left good lacing. There's no strong aroma, although I picked up some bread and grain and, perhaps a hint of yeast, but very little of the plum purée adjunct. Palate entry on the sweet side, but this a smooth drinking wheat beer. Plum flavors are prominent, but well-balanced with the fruity banana and citrus esters that peak through mid-palate along with an appropriate compliment of energizing CO2. There's also a refreshing and clean finish. Good. Advertised as "Plum Wit."

(Draft, Capitol hill) Orange amber colour with a decent head, autumn fruit aroma with a citrus-plum flavour. An enjoyable brew indeed. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - SEP 3, 2007
(draft, Cap Hill) Off-white head atop cloudy amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, lemon plum, some apricot. Taste is medium sweet, cardamom, light plum, orange. Slightly dry finish. Light-medium body with some creaminess. Stine (1794) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - SEP 2, 2007
Dense and electric orange pour. Nose of coriander and sweet vanilla with a great, jammy dark fruit character. Quiet spiciness diffuses through this, pairing with a bit of sweet malt for a fruitcake tone, fit for something darker. The sugary plum mash dominates the flavor while a dull remnant of wheat sparkles in the background. There’s a touch of tart red apple and cinnamon. Altogether a quite interesting marriage of tastes, its pitted-fruit sweetness playing wistfully with the bright crispness underneath. Palate is similarly weighted a bit more heavily. Definitely a bit too tilted, but interesting. Nice.
