Very Dark but clear amber color, with no head but a little lacing, Plenty of smoke and peat and a balanced carbonation make it a nice porter. RoyceH (1199) - Hesperange, LUXEMBOURG - SEP 19, 2010
Tap at Downtown. Pours dark brown with a thin filmy brown head. Nose is roasted malts, coffee, touch of vanilla. Quite robust. Mouth is malty, roasted, even slightly sour. Chocolate, coffee. Towards the end an almost powdery mouthfeel. Could be better, but good effort.

On tap at Arlington Pours a dark brown with a creamy tan head. The head lasts okay and laces well. Has a decent aroma of coffee and roast. The carbonation is good. Flavor is light but good. Not real thick but hits all the important flavors. It is right where a porter should be. The texture is watery. Has a medium body. The finish is okayy as is the aftertaste. This was tasty but could have been more involved. j12601 (12001) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - DEC 5, 2009
