Nice fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head, slightly hazy. Aroma is slightly dry grainy, flowers, wet hay, wet grain, cereal, paper, weeds, wet hops, leafs. Taste is slightly harsh mineraly, weeds, old wash cloth, wet hay, minerals, paper, metal tank, bark, moss, leafs, harsh hops. Medium bitterness, slightly harsh floral mouthfeel. Nice aroma...
12 ounce can from Beer Run. It was a nice (and expensive) surprise to see they expanded to Charlottesville. Hazy golden, large tan head, good retention. Aroma of pale malt, spicy and citrusy hops .The taste is citrus, grassy, spicy hops, pale malt. Crisp, lingering bitterness. Solid.

Not bad, but far from my idea of pilsner . Golden color, nice white head. Pine , citrus and malt in aroma. Hoppy bitterness in taste with malty bitterness on background. Probably too American.

Can. This is pretty good beer, but I’m not sure I’d market it as a pilsner, even if it is lagered. It’s darker than style, I’d call it a light amber. The aroma and flavors are also richer than style, with a full-up American flourish, not the snappy, crisp hoppiness of the best pilsners. Big white head quickly collapses, leaving only coarse lacing. Hazy pale yellow body with visible particles. Floral lemony aroma with rubbery notes. Dry resiny salty taste with lemony notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish resiny mealy aftertaste with passionfruit notes. It’s OK, but really unimpressive. Flavours don’t hang together that well, not very clear flavour, and lacking in character. (0.355l can, from wine monopoly, Strømmen.) tmrmwel (2331) - Bergen, NORWAY - JUL 16, 2017
Can, five months before bbd. Pours very slightly hazy yellow, with a creamy head. Aroma is hoppy notes, with pine, citrus peel and grassy notes, as well as some light malts with cereals. Medium body, with soft to average carbonation. Flavour is bitter hoppy notes, with pine, citrus peel, grassy notes and light tropical notes, as well as some malts with cereals and toffee. Nice and quaffable, but drinks more like a crisp pale ale than a pils. hman43 (1955) - Pinehurst, North Carolina, USA - JUN 19, 2017
It pours light golden with a white pillow head. Head retention is good. It also has good clarity. The aromas are strong citrus and grainy sweet malt. There are also some spicy and piney aromas as well. It is hop forward with spicy and piney flavors leading the way. There are also some grainy sweet flavors and a bit of citrus as well. Bitterness level is moderately high. There are low levels of wheat in the background and well as hint of honey. It has a moderately light body with a moderately bitter finish. Overall, it is well hopped and those flavors are the ones that shine. The taste is more like an American Pale Ale or American IPA.
