UPDATED: MAR 3, 2014 Bottle: Thanks, Ron! Musky pale, cloudy straw colored body with light white, quickly fading head, much akin to the fizz you’d get from a 7-Up. Aroma is full of decently sour stone fruits, peaches, pear skin, lemon, perhaps some apricot. Some tropical essence in the background, both sweet & a little acidic/tart. Not much funk, perhaps just a little wet oak on the back-end. Taste is pretty sour & acidic, even more so than the aroma suggests. Green apple, pear, peaches, mango, maybe even some cherry vibrance. Citric lemon with mild acidity sprints into the end as the tartness fades & a little sweetness carries things into the finish. Light pineapple-y, funkified Brett notes with a heavier hand of drying oak in the aftertaste. Still fairly stone fruit heavy overall. Nearly puckering, but also quite sweet & juicy. Very nice beer. Bottle shared with AJ in NH. Thanks! Pours cloudy yellow-gold with a moderate, white froth. The nose holds lemon, pale wood, mandarin orange. Light sweet flavor with cleansing sour lemon, mild acidity, faint doughy sweetness. Light bodied with average carbonation. Crisp finish with great lemony tang, faint grassy bitterness, pleasant funk. Wonderful. Mora2000 (6158) - McKinney, Texas, USA - NOV 24, 2013

(375ml bottle thanks to brystmar) cloudy gold dregs pour, little to no carb. Nose is bright, juicy tropical fruit, honey, great mix of lacto/pedio, smells awesome. Taste of honey, apricot, lightly sour, not as bright as expected but really nice. AdamChandler (5092) - Enfield, New Hampshire, USA - AUG 28, 2013

A - Cloudy yellow appearance. Nice lacing and a thin head. Slight gusher but we caught it!
S - Lots of lemon grassiness on the nose. Melons and acetic smells as well.
T - Nice overall. Starts with soured wheat notes and rustic funk. Hint if lemons and pineapples. Pretty citrusy and finish is butterscotch and there are some oak undertones. Nothing crazy
M - Medium mouthfeel, sticks around in the tartness for a while with lemon zest.
O - I enjoyed this one but nothing that I’d seek out again.
Thanks to Maltajo for the bottle. Pours a hazy yellow with a thin off white head. Aroma is tart, slightly sour grapes. Taste is bright clean malt, crisp, light bitterness with grape notes and a hints of sour. Well balanced and really tasty.

bottle share at BW - pre-hill farmstead 3rd anniversary - thanks a lot - highlight of this tasting session. hazy pale golden with a minimal white head. aroma is awesome: bretts, funk-plenty, juicy, citrus, vinous, white grapes, pepper. taste shows just a few acetic notes, grass, lemon, light oakiness and full grown brett species and colonies. average to soft carbonation, light body, very nice fruity and juicy and lightly tart lemon and other citrus. excellent!
