On draft pour. Hazy golden color with a nice white head. Hints of lime, and straw. Crisp and fresh. bmerz (741) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - NOV 11, 2011
Bottle from the brewery last week. This seems much more a hoppy saison than a wheet. Whatever it is awesome. Pours a hazy straw with largish champagne like bubbles and a one finger head that lasted all the way down. Intense floral and peppery hops aroma with lots of lemon. Tastes very tart, lemon pith bitterness, brett, crackery wheat. Feels soft but pallet cleansing and literally mouth watering. Finishes with something clovelike in taste and palate. This bottle is so fresh, viibrant, and clean. Really grea Ratman197 (15762) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - OCT 30, 2011
750 ml bottle poured a hazy gold with a lasting white head.Aromas of wheat, white pepper, lime, straw and light earthiness. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of wheat, straw, lime, white pepper and light yeast with a crisp dry lingering pepery lime finish. NobleSquirrel (3439) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 25, 2011
Draft at GABF. Better than the Rosso was, much cleaner. Nose is full of Brett with pie cherries, light funk and a different sort of spiciness. Floral notes come across as well. on tasting, this is a distinctly Brett beer with a nice and dry quality to it. Lack depth of character over all. Lightly tart and some odd lemongrass in late. Okay.

bottle recently purchased poured a light golden color with a one finger white head that took a bit of coaxing to get going. aroma has lemon rind, white pepper, yeast, and some wheat. mouth feel is on the lighter side and there is light carbonation. flavor has a nice wheat core, slightly bitter hops, lemon rind, pepper, and a clean yeast. it finishes nicely and it lingers on for a minute. this must have been a hell of a beer when first bottled and the lemon zest flavors still are pretty juicy. notalush (5985) - Lakewood, Colorado, USA - SEP 30, 2011
GABF 2011 - intense nose of lime and lemon rind, lemongrass, wheat and pepper - flavor is peppery heat, strong, fresh lime and mint, tangy wheat - fresh, grassy, zesty citrus finish - well done. Jow (4215) - Orlando, Florida, USA - SEP 24, 2011
Bottle from DeCecios for Saturday afternoon. Pours yellow with nice fluffy head and decent lacing. Smells delicious of citrus and hops. Tastes of lemon peel, hoppy, cloves, banana, herbs, and floral. It’s quick drying on palate and clean and crisp. Great. zdk (1917) - New York, New York, USA - SEP 21, 2011
tap at Rattle n hum - sort of strange to call this a wheat ale... more like a herbally wheat IPA, I guess. Awesome floral and citrus hops on the nose. Sweet caramel malts, crackery wheat grains and pine. Grapefruit citrus and a lychee-like tartness. Smooth with a mild bitterness. Nice lemon peeking out and touch of savory cloves to round it off. hivemind (934) - New York, New York, USA - SEP 20, 2011
On tap at RnH for bronite. Medium yellow/gold pour with medium white head. Very delicate aroma of floral hops and some dryness. Palate is somehow lemony and zesty without being tart or puckery. Kind of has a watery palate with lingering dry mouthfeel. High drinkability. Not intense. Good.
