12 oz bottle pour..could of sworn I rated this in the bigger 16 oz bottle..guess not..pours a medium golden yellow with active carbonation...nose is hoppy for sure with mostly citrus apricot orange action..taste is pretty smooth and quite typical of other dipas...nothing here that is gonna blow you away good or bad but decent all around.. williamstome (2038) - Denver, Colorado, USA - NOV 27, 2015
Sort of odd for a Dipa. Pale gold pour, big white head. Aroma of sweet caramel, fruit and chocolate. Flavor of dark chocolate, fruit, and straw. Not very bitter. raymow (1860) - Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 22, 2015
on tap at Crafty’s Taproom in Northeast Phila - super hoppy aroma and flavor. Flavor also sweet. Nice balance. Cloudy golden color. altonbrownd (5897) - Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA - OCT 24, 2015
5/26/2010 9:31:54 AM Bottle from Bierkoning. Warm orange body with tall head. Sweet nose of hops, pine and caramel. Nippy flavour of sweet hops, caramel and lots of honey. Quite a nice IIPA but perhaps a tad too sweet for me. Definitely, the Captain’s special reserve. Gonzin (187) - ARGENTINA - SEP 10, 2015
Botella de .9 fl oz. Adquirida en New Beer Distributors, LES, New York. Color dorado claro y con algo de espuma. Cítricos y pino se mezclan en una conjunción casi perfecta para esta excelente Doble IPA.

Draft. Cloudy gold. Citrus and pine like a typical imperial ipa but, the taste is overpowered by alcohol. A very harsh 9%. Unbalanced. Ok, but I wouldn't order this again.

Had this at a restaurant in New Jersey. Great hops with a lot of fruit. Extremely smooth in the palate.

pours hazy golden orange with white head. Smell is pine, hops, citrus a tiny bit of malt. Taste is bitter hops, pine, resin, and a slightly malt finish. Medium body medium carb. PhillyCraft (8192) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 26, 2015
Bottle care of Matt. pours a murky golden color with medium to large white head. Retains well. Nose is beautiful with slightly overripe pineapple and pine dankness. Flavor is oranges, caramel malt, light booze, and slight pineapple like the smell. Medium to fuller mouth. Good amount of bitterness. This is pretty decent when fresh. klk343 (163) - - JUN 25, 2015
Clear copper. Not so good smell but nicely flavored. Really smooth. Slippery texture. Lemon, orange. Light.
