Undated can from marked down 12 so assumed old as hell > weizenbock glass A: Poured a small white head atop a pale dirty gold body. Short retention then head fell to a ring. S: Muted scent of citrus pith, sweet/tart orange flesh and sweet caramel. T: Bitter and tart with citrus, pith and juice flavors. Tartness lingers with a hint of caramel sweetness. Grapefruit addition is thankfully subtle. M: Light and crisply carbonated with a juicy finish. O: Very glad the fruit is tastefully used but I would prefer it be left out. Tastes pretty good even though it's probably old. Points off for no dating.

Keg at Draft House Hammersmith as Captain Lawrence Effortless Grapefruit Session IPA, 4.5%. Pours a dark orange, almost brown, translucent with a small diminishing light brown head. Aroma is big grapefruit juice, blood orange, orange juice, mixed fresh fruit salad. Body is smooth with tingly carbonation. Taste is flavoured sodawater, lots of grapefruit, dusty, some lemon cake, lemon slice sweets. Lots of grapefruit but not in a silly overpowering way. Fairly well judged for a novelty beer. Fantastisk grapefrukt arom som balanseras fint när den hamnar i munnen. Något tunn i mellangommen men totalt en mkt god öl. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draught at Worden Hall, 8/19/17.
Mostly clear, soft yellow-golden, well-carbonated with a small head showing moderately-low retention.
Nose is mostly grapefruit, with some leafy, pine-and-grapefruit-like hop notes alongside it. Biscuit and honey malts don't seem terribly well-developed and are rather lifeless/stale smelling. No alcohol or flaw.
In the mouth it's very lifeless, kinda fizzy, without much of a soft/supple texture, though at least it's fairly dry. Grapefruit is a bit too dominant, though I've seen worse. Very mediocre.

Keg at Euston Tap, London. Slightly hazy golden shade. White head. Very nice grapefruit influence. Grassy and zesty. Slightly muddled taste but enjoyed the fruity aspects.

BeerViking (5198) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 14, 2017
UPDATED: DEC 14, 2017 Keg at the Waterloo Tap, bright amber-brown with a lacing head, clean aromas of toasted and caramelised grapefruit, malty citrus body with a crisp yet earthy hoppiness, beautiful Integration of fruit and beer.

Captain Lawrence Effortless Grapefruit IPA 4.5% Orange-copper in color with a pillowy beige head and the aroma has me saying "Holy grapefruit batman!" Pithy but bright grapefruit juice aroma. Medium bodied with a semi-slick mouthfeel, the taste is sweet grapefruit, zest, a bit of bitter pith and sweet malts. Summery and easy drinking though after awhile it comes off a bit too sweet. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
