Can from World Beer Market (Sake no Taniguchi). Nose of citrus zest, lots of grapfruit, oranges. Hazy copper color. Flavors of grapefruit, pine, toasted malt. Quite resiny and bitter. Somewhat of dry finish. Thin-medium body. Okay. Not as overtly fruit juicy as some other grapefruit IPAs/

Nice session IPA on draft at the Craft Ale House. The beer poured a light gold color with a bubbly off-white head. There is a ton of grapefruit in the nose and the flavors, as the name implies. The body is a bit on the sweet side, with lots of fruit flavors. The body is very smooth, making this beer extremely drinkable.

Can 0,33. Pours slightly hazy with medium white head. Aroma of grapefruit, sweet oranges, perhaps faint mango. Taste is dominated by grapefruit with some citrus, mild bitterness in the aftertaste. Medium body and average carbonation.

Friends and I agreed this was pretty much like drinking grapefruit Chu-hi (Japanese cooler of sorts) with good bitterness

This is the most enjoyable of the recent spate of grapefruit beers I have tried; easy drinking, nice grapefruit flavor but not too sweet nor overly bitter; very well balanced and if it had more alcohol it would be very easy to drink too much of this beer. Nose is particularly nice, with true grapefruit and citrusy hop notes, taste is grapefruit-forward, but with a clean finish and nice bitterness. Now if I could just find it easily, I’d make it my beer of the summer!

Hazy golden beer, white head.Grapefruit and mango smell. Taste is dry grapefruit, grass, some hop. Crisp, fresh citric aftertaste. Doesn’t have an awful lot going on but then I suppose the name might have given that away. It’s solid and tasty though.
