On tap at Ginger Man in NYC. Pours a clear golden color with a very small whitish head sitting on top. The aroma is very gingery along with bready malts and Belgian yeast, maybe slight citrus character. The flavor is heavy on ginger and spice with a good dry malty background, bready and crackery, with Belgian yeast and spiciness. Tingling on the mouthfeel from all the spices. Medium-bodied and dry with average carbonation. A moderately enjoyable beer but not one I’d seek out again. juiceisloose (1491) - Windermere, Florida, USA - DEC 11, 2010
Draft at Ginger Man in NYC. Pours a mostly cloudy amber color and topped by a thick off white head of foam. The aroma shows notes of fresh ginger, yeast, and floral hop bitterness on top of a sweet cereal grain malt base. The flavor follows suit with the fresh ginger, spicy clove yeast, and some dry bready malt thats add a some sweetness. Some light floral hops add some bitterness on the finish. Medium bodied with ample carbonation with a spicy, ginger finish. Not bad, but this a given to try when your at the Ginger Man. beerfest5 (1207) - Cloneen, IRELAND - NOV 12, 2010
on tap @ the Ginger Man NYC, amber in color, aroma is some ginger and hops, i didnt think it was a belgian at all when I had it, sort of a hoppy brown ale more than a belgian, very easy to drink, the abv is good for a session beer but the sweetness from the ginger would get to me if i had more than one. cfrancis (3445) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 6, 2010
On tap at Ginger Man. Pours a cloudy yellow with a white head. Aroma is ginger, sweetness and light hop. Taste is a big mouthfeel of soft ginger, sweet malt and a little citrus. Really nice beer. ryan (3186) - Beltsville, Maryland, USA - JUN 28, 2010
Really nice ginger and cracker nose, light herbal hops. Nice spicy ginger, dry cracker malts, herbal/grassy hops, light lemon. Finish is all ginger, lots of lingering spice. Lovely

(Old BA rate - tap - According to the chalk board at Gingerman, this is a new recipe - consumed August 2009)
Half-finger of white head; lightly hazy marigold color. Gingery and spicy; white pepper; a little yeasty in the aroma. Ginger comes through in the taste first much like the nose; yeasty; white pepper doesn’t come through in the taste which is unfortunate; decent enough. Medium; nice touch of carbonation to keep it lively and finishes a bit dry. Not bad drinking; interesting; but became a bit of a chore after a bit; BDR (2534) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - JUN 7, 2010
Dark orange with white head. Aroma of Ginger and bread. Buttery body body goes well with the gingerbread flavor. notalush (5875) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUN 5, 2010
Tap at Bobbique, Patchogue, NY - a very light, mildly estery belgian ale, with some semi-dry, crackery malts and dusty yeast character that compliment the mild ginger character - a light it of banana sweetness in the finish, but otherwise clean, tart, and mildly spicy.
