Tap @ GMan. Ginger is very faint with hints of spice. Reminds me of autumn. Nice caramel sweetness and hop balance. blipp (9306) - La Mesa, California, USA - MAR 21, 2009
Draft at The Ginger Man in NYC. Amber ornage with a thin off white head. Sweet malt aroma with lemony hops and some spices. Ginger is definitely noticeable in the flavor. Lighter notes of lemon and other spices. Not bad. tgncc (3132) - Bellmore, New York, USA - MAR 3, 2009
The aroma is a gorgeous smell of crushed ginger. Not much else, the ginger dominates. The appearance is an amber color, white head. The flavor is very reminiscent of a wheat ale. It has an extreme spicyness, ginger, clove, malts, hops. The finish is a bittering from spices and hops. Medium mouthfeel. Good, not fully enjoyable. goldtwins (4320) - Nesconset, New York, USA - FEB 26, 2009

Tap at Gingerman. Pours a medium copper with a thin off white head. Aroma is clean- lightly estery, phenolic clove, and medium to light ginger character- belgien yeasty doughiness is refined and kept in control- lightly spicy phenols. Flavor has a light caramel and crackery sweetness, a bit of yeast adn phenolics, clove and ginger- soft easy going carbonation make it real easy to drink- and fairly smooth overall. House tap beer at Gingerman NYC, very nice. Appearence is a rich copperwith white head, sweet toffee nose with nice hoppiness. Flavour is great, slight sweet malt, good bitterness and spot on carbonation. Well executed in every aspect, could sit on this beer forever and a day.

Malty aroma with hints of ginger and yeast. taste is smooth and malty with big accents of ginger to give it a little bitterness. Finishes a little thick, but otherwise very good. On tap in Ginger Man NYC. Orange & ruby with a small white head. Aroma: Dandelions, Pine, malt and sugar, quite pleasant. Flavour: Cinnamon, lots of cinnamon with malt, all spice and banana. Very enjoyable. beastiefan2k (3981) - HdG (past: NYC, KS, Rain City), Maryland, USA - NOV 28, 2008
Imperial pint pour at the Ginger Man. Pours with a large pillow-y head, which sits atop a clear copper body. Aroma is strong with Belgian yeastiness and an estery-fruitiness. Comes of as strawberry. There are plenty of hops in there as well. They come off very vine-y and green. All together its a weird mix. Taste is very similar. It’s a succession of spikes of esters and then hops. It doesn’t "meld" at all, instead its two competing sides to the beer. However, it works well enough and interesting in its own way. It ends with yeast sweetness and rubbery hops. I enjoyed it but I can easily see the ratings going the other way.
