Pours a lovely rosy apricot ale with a sheet of bone white foam. Smells of mmmm, elderflowers, rosehips, some lemon zest, a little funk, some grapefruit pith and a little bit of hay. Tastes of baking soda, more floral tones, tart, some metal, a hint of ammonia and chalk. Flavor does not match the nose for me. A touch of peppercorn and the elderflower emerges as it warms. Body is really empty with low carb and a wet finish. This was a nice smelling beer, but the flavor did not deliver with the assertiveness the aroma produced. It was lacking in the body department as well.

Tasting at Bruce’s new pad. Thanks to Leighton for this tasty number. Hazy amber beer with a small pale cream coloured head. Palate is light, soft and airy, semi dry. Perfumey floralness and tangy fruity hibiscus. Lightly sour rose hips on the semi dry finish. Intertesting and tasty.
Holy shit. Pours a nice rosy pinkish brown. Great pink-white head. Laces very well. Aroma is tart and floral in all the best ways. Taste is bright, sweet flowers, tart and citrusy. Light and effervescent on the tongue. Just an amazing sour! I traded for this, and will look for it again! merc7186 (3160) - North Tonawanda, New York, USA - OCT 27, 2013

Bottle at Bruce’s, thanks to Leighton. It pours murky golden-amber with a small white head. The nose is wood, vanilla, toasted coconut, floral, lactic and orange. The taste is crisp, melon, lactic, wood, spice, mild acidity, floral Granny Smith apple and lemon with a dry, tart finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Quite delicate and well-balanced actually. Tasty. maneliquor (3514) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - OCT 17, 2013
Bottle cheers to Leighton. I really didn’t get this beer, just wasn’t for me. Very musky and grassy with floral notes behind it all - obviously rose. I am not one for the smell of roses let alone the taste so probably not the most appreciative of this beer. Not bad just didn’t grab me Leighton (22327) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 15, 2013
Bottle shared at Bruce’s in London. Thanks to Jay for trading me this one. Hazy gold with a creamy white head. Mild tangy clementines in the nose, touches of flowers. Decent funk in the flavor, light sweetness, hints of white bread, some oranges. Light bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Dry finish with light sweetness, modest bitterness, some white grapes, lemons, oranges, slight herbs. Quite delicate. Very drinkable. JBoan (177) - Arizona, USA - OCT 7, 2013
Bottle. Pours a hazy amber with an off white head. Aroma is funky sour fruit, cherries, citrus, some floral notes, brett, honey and spices. Taste is sour cherries, brett, floral and spice. Well balanced, medium body and clean finishing!
