(375ml bottle) Pours a pink rose body with a small off-white head. Aroma of florals, grass, pineapple, cheese, vinous, and raspberries. Flavor of rosehips, hibiscus, herbs, grass, berries, brett, and citrus. Jesterdeal (1985) - Marlton, New Jersey, USA - MAY 24, 2013
Aroma of tart white sin, roses a.d potpourri. Pour hazy peach and red. Taste is floral withrose, tart cherry and tulip. Not funky or tart. Overrated. deyholla (11759) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - MAY 12, 2013
Bottle thanks to a trade! Pours a clear burnt siena with a touch of red and an off-white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a nice light sour acidity with some underlying flora, wine and light fruits. Flavor has more of a floral note with a nice underlying light sour fruit note and a dry wine like finish. A bit thin on the tongue. alexsdad06 (10486) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - MAY 5, 2013
375 ml bottle. Pours a hazy pink golden amber color with a medium sized white head. The aroma is floral, rose petals, herbal, wood, tart citrus and fruits. The flavor is tart citrus, floral, herbal, and wood. Light vinous notes, interesting stuff. dimenhetfield (2486) - , Florida, USA - APR 16, 2013
Bottle shared with friends. Big thanks to my buddy Ed for bringing this back home from his recent trip to NY. Probably the most hoppy sour beer I’ve ever tried, which made for a very interesting/enjoyable drinking experience. Super tasty.

375 ml bottle acquired via trade from dmac, I think. Thanks, dude. Pours a richer reddish pink copper hue, some darkness in the middle. Good glowing pink copper edges. A firm haziness, bigger offwhite head atop dies to a thicker ring, laces well. The pinkish red notes from the florals and Hibiscus are appealing. Aromas are definite rose petals, florals, and tart hibiscus. Gentle wet wood, oak, and mellow vanilla. Earthy, roses, mellow sour citrusy nose. The florals, roses and hibiscus in particular, really offer some firm dominance. A mellow tartness, earthy florals, and growing oak character. A bit of yogurt, some bready malts. A bit of fuzziness, funk, and dust. Straw, gentle cobwebs. Initial is light in body, firmer dry tart front end, light and easily quaffable. Fuzzy florals, tart hibiscus, and gentle oak hit the palate. A bit effervescent and spritzy. The middle shows more floras, rose petals, pollen, earth. Tart hibiscus, gentle yogurt grows in this phase. Wet oak, some vanilla, gentle tannic quality. A bit more tart, some grapefruit rind and fruit meet the palate into the middle which works quite well for me. Tartness, florals, and mellowing oak into the backend. This really grows on me, the grapefruit cutting through as I settle in. It’s a decent sourness that offers some unique floral influence, firm flavors, and that telltale grapefruit and mellow oaky dryness, mellow brett and firm oaky qualities as we finish up. What seemed a bit ho-hum as I started finishes as something I quite enjoy. Nose is a bit fleeting and one dimensional but appearance is amazing and flavor really works for me to some extent. Good balance, nice spritzy tart feel. Nice beer. brystmar (1314) - Dallas, Texas, USA - APR 12, 2013
Man, I hated this when it was fresh, but my how the times have changed. Beautiful rose-colored body leaves elegant, similarly toned head and lace.
Aroma is soured yeast, floral, saison-esque, pretty nice. Yet the taste is where the biggest change took place: rose hips and hibiscus faded considerably, replaced by soured (if subtle) fruit and yeast. Notes of watermelon jolly ranchers.
Quite complex and absolutely delicious. Truly surprised I like it this much, especially considering my distaste for it initially. Will be picking a few of these up. vtafro (7445) - Wayne, New Jersey, USA - APR 4, 2013
Bottle. Pink pour with no head. Wine tones, hibiscus and other floral aromas, almost the aroma of a sour at the same time. Floral flavors shine through the flavor with some vinous and oak tones as undertones. nimbleprop (8476) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - MAR 18, 2013
375ml bottle pours a hazy, deep pink with some hazy, white head. Nose of grapefruit, flower petals, herbal tea, hand soap. Flavor is tart, soapy, grapefruit, blood orange, herbal, lavender, chamomile. Tart, spritzy finish. Pretty nice. brokensail (16486) - Dublin, California, USA - MAR 11, 2013
Cloudy orange pour with a tall white head. Initial aroma is pleasant. Tart lemon, green apple, and citric tartness. Some floral notes, a bit of oak, wine, and grass. The flavor has a pronounced elderflower character, sour lemon and green apple, and wine. Charred oak, pronounced smoke, and a hint of bandaid after the initial tartness of the flavor.
