Holy shit. Pours a nice rosy pinkish brown. Great pink-white head. Laces very well. Aroma is tart and floral in all the best ways. Taste is bright, sweet flowers, tart and citrusy. Light and effervescent on the tongue. Just an amazing sour! I traded for this, and will look for it again! parktravis (10) - - JAN 1, 2014

Bottle with some Bros courtesy of Bill. Pours a murky pink with small head, medium light lacing. Aromas are floral all the way: hibiscus, elderberries, rose hips, sour fruit and light oak. So delicate but drinkable at the same time. What an amazing fruit beer, glad I have a few more bottles to try. Travlr (24307) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - MAR 1, 2013

375ml bottle into a snifter. Bottled in: 5/12. Extremely slow gush after opening.
A - Dark orange body with a pink tint. Somewhat hazy yet it lets a lot of light through. Really lasting bone white head with excellent lacing and retention.
S - Really saison like. Grass, hay, lemons, and then the floral kick comes into play. A bit of spice and sweetness from the different flowers. I can’t describe this aroma other than calling it "floral". It works really well though and its never comes off as being too floral. Some warm oak and red grape notes in the finish.
T - Definitely a liquid gold base. Hay and grass, a bit of spicy coriander, tart lemons, light brett and oak notes. This is followed by some very subtle but interesting floral flavors. Earthy, spicy and cheesy with some sweetness. Mouth feel is spritzy with a surprising alcohol presence despite the low ABV.
O - Captain Lawrence is on a real roll for me. This is a really interesting and well executed wild ale. The flowers are rather subtle and just compliment the oak aged base beer and the critters. I was thinking it would be either too much floral, or synthetic like an air freshener. I’m happy to say thats not the case. hivemind (914) - New York, New York, USA - AUG 7, 2012
Bottle @ Gingerman with streets and James. Ruby red pour, nose of airy, fleeting red fruit. Palate is very subtle red fruit like strawberry and cherry. Tart yet not sour and not as robust or packed full of fruit as I was hoping. But that kept me sipping. James said it was much better on tap but he’s a stupid butt. rlgk (18847) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - SEP 15, 2012
Bottle, from a trade with Maxxdaddy. Hazy orange/copper color, small but lasting offwhite head. Floral aroma, roses, citrus, stable, leather, elderberries, yeasty, brett, vinous, citrus, woody, sourish, hay, some grapefruit. Vinous floral flavor, sour, elderberries, woody, citrus, grapefruit, roses, brett, leather, stable, tart, pineapple, some tea. Different from most beers, but very good. Floral grassy finish with leather, roses, tart and with some grapefruit. Thorpe429 (5035) - , Illinois, USA - AUG 5, 2012
Big thanks to Huhzubendah for sharing this one. Served in a Captain Lawrence cervoise. Pours a nice, bright pink color with a tall light pink head. Good retention and lacing. Wow, it’s an elderflower beer that tastes good. More else and hibiscus. Very well done. Subtle and nuanced, but still pungent. Fairly tart. daknole (11044) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - AUG 7, 2012
