Thick, lightly pinkish head, stable over orange-pink, clouded beer. Very fruity (& vinous) nose; cherry, but also other fruit - rosehips definitely possible. Quite some acids emerging in the nose: fruit-, lactic, but I seem to get also faint acidic. But intensely fruity and iniviting. Sourish, near-tart fruity flavour. Again sour cherry, pomegranate juice, rosehips, wild plums, and also the elderberries emerging. Finish is dry, with a spicy touch. Feels more carbonated than it looks. Dry, extremely refreshing, light body. Excellent fruitbeer. Really nice and aaaarrrrghhh ’more-ish’. Many thanks to Chris Kabouter and Freddy!

UPDATED: FEB 22, 2017 Draft at Bru Craft. Very hazy pinkish peach pour with a lasting soft foamy ring. Modest hops and herbal tea. Hibiscus. Elderberry. Honeysuckle. Blood orange. Cactus pear. Rose hip. Passionfruit. Merlot. Gently sweet and sour. Fruity aromatics. Slight hop bite. Oaky tannic finish. Unusual. Needs more refinement.

Bottle pours hazy golden with a large white head. Aroma is floral, of the elder variety especially, funky, some barrel and white wine notes. Flavor is medium tart, some floral hop notes, dry, well rounded. Medium body, high carbonation level. Nice.

Shared bottle at Craft Ale. Hazy straw with ruby hints and fizzy whit head. Nose was pale malt, hops, hibiscus, vinous fruit. Tasted like a white wine hybridized with a heavier golden ale, but with big hops and spicy, black peppery hibiscus added. Outstanding1

375 ml bottle. Pours a hazy dark orange color with a pinkish hue at the edges and topped off by a small layer of white foam that quickly fades a to a thin film. The aroma is very floral showing notes of flowers, hibiscus, and rose hips to go with some sour fruit, vinous oak, and tart notes from the Brett. The flavor follows and shows a melody of floral characters from the rose hips and hibiscus to go with the vinous oak barrels, light sour fruit, some funk from the yeast, and a light tartness overall. Really tasty and refreshing with the floral notes. Medium bodied with ample carbonation that leads to a lengthy tart, fruity and floral finish. Really easy to drink and a really nice sour ale overall. Good stuff.

From notes. Tasted some time near the summer of 2012 from a capped 375mL bottle. Pours hazy pink/orange with an average white head that leaves average lacing. The nose is sour and floral with a spicy hibiscus aroma. The flavor is more floral, spicy, and bitter than on the nose, and has just a touch of tartness. The body is light with average carbonation, some oak tannin, and a long lightly sour and very floral, touch of bitter finish.

This beer here, this beer I had @ the Grand Tasting... Courtesy of some kind soul.
Pours a hazy orange with a small head and nice lacing on the glass.

The aroma is earthy with some nice funk and some rosewater.

The flavor is tart and oaky, really enjoyable and decidedly floral with some bright and bitter flower character.

Neat beer.

12.7 oz bottle courtesy of jimsal27. Thanks. Pours a cloudy amber color with a small white head that quickly fizzes away to nothing. The aroma features a lot of perfume and some urinal cake type stuff. The taste is somewhat funky with Belgian yeasts, flowers and rock candy. The palate is light but effective and the carbonation is soft. Finishes medium in duration and dry. Overall: Well made, but just not my cup-o-tea.
