This had more pumpkin flavor than the pumpkin ale, with a nice combination of spices (cinnamon, coriander).
Draft. Bronze pumkin color but dark. Spice and cinnamon. Almost like the automation. Not bad

On tap at Pony Bar HK. Pours a translucent amber with some tight white head. Nose has those familiar pie spices, nutmeg, ginger, cinnamon, but nothing over whelming. Nose also has some malt, caramel and a distinct root veg character, like maybe roasted sweet potatos and squash. Flavor is sweet and the actual squash flavor hits you right away, some caramel, obvious spice, a little brown bread. Medium bodied, lightly sweet, lightly spicy finish. Very well balanced. blipp (9691) - La Mesa, California, USA - DEC 3, 2012
Draft. Pours amber with a beige head. Sweet toffee malts, squash, light herbal notes, low bitterness, and a hint of spices. Not bad. Nickls (2607) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - NOV 16, 2012
Tap, Gingerman. Deep dark brown with a light tan head. Slight pumpkin pi3 spices but very restrained, nutty and slightly savory aromas. Slight sticky sweetness with nutty notes, all spice, pumpkin clearly comes through. Medium slick body. Solid enough. j12601 (13099) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - NOV 9, 2012
Growler from Half Time shared with das wife. Pours a clear copper brown with a large beige head that deflates to a smaller size, but still remains. Sweet caramel and pumpkin flesh, warm caramelizing squash. Not overwhelmed with the burnt spices that typically destroy the nose of a nice pumpkin beer. Medium bodied, warm and toasty, nice amount of malt and a bit of spiciness, but again just coming from the yeast and the malt, I don’t get any actual spices in here, which is quite nice. Easy drinking a touch nutty, more pumpkin flavor with a hint of sesame nuttiness into the finish. Very well done.

UPDATED: NOV 10, 2012 Draft at Alewife. Pours dark amber with off white head. Nose and taste of pumpkin, light spice and squash. The spices are very light in the mix with small traces of cinnamon and nutmeg. A little bit of earthy nuttiness. Medium body. jbardin (169) - New York, USA - OCT 13, 2012
Draft at alewife. Nice amber spiced ale, lots of pumpkin spices but other spices too--def not one note. Like this more than their pumpkin beer.

Draft from the brewery. At the baseline, this is a solid amber ale with some nice hop bite and a bit of malty smoothness. With spice notes and some interesting flavor mingling with the pumpkin and squash, this beer is certainly unique and the added flavors are subtle and not overbearing, but I do not think they augment the enjoyment of this beer. Interesting experiment, but not something I’d search for. jredmond (8645) - New York, New York, USA - OCT 6, 2012
Draft at barcade. Pours a deep amber body. Aroma is light spice and candied malts. Mouthfeel is medium and carbonated with notes of light spice, light booze, malt, maybe some pumpkin.
