COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Don't let the golden color fool you - this isn't your father's lite beer! Brewed with imported German malts and US-grown hops, this beer is a full-flavored introduction to craft-brewed beer. We add the hops late in the boil, allowing you to enjoy the flavor and aroma of the hops without an aggressive bitterness. Sensory Profile: Aromas of orange, spice, and green grass. Clean malt-dominated flavor, with a subdued bitterness playing in the background of the aromas of this beer. Food Pairing: A great match with fish and chicken, both sautéed and grilled, especially with citrus and herbs preparations. Shellfish steamed in Liquid Gold is a match made in beer heaven.

12 oz. Bottle. Clear gold color with a medium white head. Aroma has some subtle fruits and mild yeasty spice/ black pepper. Flavor is pretty well balanced yeast spice and some soft grain and light bread, touch of pepper in the finish. Texture is dry and grainy. Proper carbonation levels giving a mild smoothness over the palate. Overall right to the style, it is what it should be.

Single bottle. Pours out a slightly hazy medium golden color. Classic belgian yeast dominates the aroma and flavors. Citrus, apple and sweet malty character. Body is think, more like a triple than a 6 percent offering. Chewy texture. Filling.

Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from Julio’s Liquors. Aroma is mild--mix of fruity esters and bubble gum. Appearance is hazy light yellow with greenish tinge, minimal foamy white ring of head with trace sparkle and no real lacing. Taste is moderately sweet banana with bubblegum and light spice. Palate is medium bodied with foamy texture but dominant palate feature is fizzy, stinging carbonation. Finish is dry and fruity. Overall, this seems to be overrated to me--prominent faults all around.

UPDATED: JUL 8, 2016 Medium gold, clear, covering lace. Full body, smooth texture, light but dense flavor, rich and hot mouthfeel with vivid carbonation, lingering palate. Bitter, crisp, off-dry, well balanced. Delicious hop flavors, complex, resiny, floral. Great beer even for non-beginners. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Presentation: It was poured from a brown 12 oz bottle into a pint glass. Appearance: The body has a deep golden color with good clarity and some visible carbonation. It is topped off with a small just off white head. This head slowly settles to a thin wispy film covering. Smell: In the nose I get some light maltiness with mild floral and citrus hop notes. Taste / Palate: The flavor has a good malt base with a slight clover honey like sweetness. This is balanced with floral, citrus and grassy hop bitterness. The carbonation feels well balanced to body making it very drinkable.
