UPDATED: JUL 8, 2016 Medium gold, clear, covering lace. Full body, smooth texture, light but dense flavor, rich and hot mouthfeel with vivid carbonation, lingering palate. Bitter, crisp, off-dry, well balanced. Delicious hop flavors, complex, resiny, floral. Great beer even for non-beginners. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone Gonzin (187) - ARGENTINA - AUG 25, 2015
Botella 330 ml adquirida en Whole Foods Union Square. Ale belga de color dorado ligeramente turbio. Sabor cítrico clásico de las cervezas belgas. Buena.

Bottle, hazy gold with thin head. Sweet and grainy nose. Light malt, crisp bite, lite Belgian spice. Nice flavor not overwhelming but flavorful. GIJOE (1256) - North Berwick, Maine, USA - AUG 1, 2015
Pours a pale yellow-gold. Nose is a little cider like with a hint of lemon and a kind of Belgian yeast note. Taste is well balanced. Fresh tasting brew. Nice.

Presentation: It was poured from a brown 12 oz bottle into a pint glass.
Appearance: The body has a deep golden color with good clarity and some visible carbonation. It is topped off with a small just off white head. This head slowly settles to a thin wispy film covering.
Smell: In the nose I get some light maltiness with mild floral and citrus hop notes.
Taste / Palate: The flavor has a good malt base with a slight clover honey like sweetness. This is balanced with floral, citrus and grassy hop bitterness. The carbonation feels well balanced to body making it very drinkable.

APPEARANCE ? Light gold color with light turbidity. Persistent white foamy head.
NOSE ? nice, light Belgian yeasty aromas emanate from the glass as I waft it around.
FLAVOR ? light ale flavor with definite Belgian notes.
NOTES - Good beer, but not quite the ?gold?. KornDogg (570) - Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 5, 2015
Strong citrus and clove aroma. Clear golden body with lasting jead. Flavor begins with strong citrus followed by yeast and clove notes. Bitter

Bottled. Pour into a tulip, hazy yellow color, white frothy head. Aroma is traditional belgian spices, yeasty, banana, clove, wheat, coriander. Fairly standard. Flavor is lemon candy sweetness, candied sugar, belgian spices, hops, actually pretty nice flavor. A little less boring. williamherbert (1544) - Syracuse, New York, USA - MAR 25, 2015
Golden yellow color, naturally. Puffy white head.
Aroma is Belgian spices, with some melted plastic phenols.
The flavor is some more of that plastic, but it’s also lots more spiciness, like Grains of Paradise.
Feels prickly. It’s a very light beer, full of flavor, some of it a little iffy. reggiedunlop (3726) - The dub c, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 23, 2015
Pours clear gold with a medium silky white head. Aroma has some tropical fruits and mild yeasty spice. Flavor follows suit and adds a nice grassy/citrusy bitterness...fairly balanced and no one flavor dominates. Mouthfeel is light / medium and lively with a dry spicy/minerally/earthy finish. Very nicely done.
