2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle sample at a tasting at kerenmk’s place. Thanks zvikar. Hazy pale golden with a white head. Aroma of fresh fruits and light spiciness. Sweetish flavor, yeast and a bit spicy with some fruitiness and a drier alcoholic finish. Medium-bodied. So-so. Why does a 6% beer feels so alcoholic?
KØLF 050517. golden color with a white head. Aroma is citrus, peaches, oranges. Flavor is citrus, peaches, oranges, spices, grass, yeast. Easy drinkable nice beer. tfredvik (1985) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 21, 2017
Hazy golden body with a large, creamy, quite dense, white and long-lived head that sticks to the glass. Strong aroma of Belgian yeast and spices. In the back I get orange, lichee, overripe peach, vanilla and hints of banana. Strong flavour of Belgian yeast, black pepper and other spicy notes, orange and fruits. Traces of banana. Light to moderate sweet taste with a long-lasting light bitter finish. Mid-bodied, smooth mouthfeel, moderate carbonation. A very spicy and tasty ale. Nice creamy mediumlasting head, slightly hazy. Aroma is slightly dry floral, weeds, hay, flowers, yeast, minerals, broth, grass, dough, spices, banana. Taste is slightly sour-ish dry floral, weeds, yeast, minerals, dough, light malts, flowers, hay, paper, bark, alcohol, spices. Medium bitterness, slightly watery and harsh mineraly mouthfeel. Not my cup of tea.
12 oz bottle with a July 2016 poured into a lager glass in Sept. 2016.
Look: pours light golden in color with a puffy, thick, white head. Very good retention. Sticky, soapy lace covers about 20% of the glass.
Aroma: Hop (Noble?) dominated. Some bready, fruity and floral aromas, A touvh of slightly funky aroma.
Flavor: Fruity sweetness balanced by peppery and herbal hops. Mild bitterness.
Feel: The body is medium-light with lively, crisp medium carbonation.
Overall: a solid but earthy/herbal Belgian pale ale.

Light yeast aroma. Clove like. Some citrus. Pours golden with a big head. Taste is a bit sweet, lots of spice flavor and a bit of citrus. Low carb body but light. Palme (4811) - Bergen, NORWAY - JUL 5, 2016
On tap @ Mudville 9. As the name suggests this is a golden colored one, soft blurry and a tiny quickly islandy shattered off-white head on the top. Smells nice. Kinda sweetish and mild yeasty. There’s some sweet tones of fruits without me being able to name them. The same goes for the taste really. It’s really soft on the bubbles and it has a mild oily texture in the mouth. Sweetish mild yeasty. There’s apricots and strawberries. Funky? Yeah, I do believe it is. Like it. 10.06.2015 diwmaron (3) - - JUN 6, 2016 does not count
Nice local beer. The taste of hops stays for awhile. No foam. Nice weat color. I recommend! Frank (4209) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 4, 2016
This is qn excellent hoppy Belgian. It’s just a touch sweet with a great melding of floral hops and fruity yeast. It’s fairly full bodied but still drinkable with a crisp pop of bitterness in the finish. This is one you could drink all day. NikkTwist (3256) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 21, 2016
UPDATED: JUL 14, 2016 Draft at The Irish Pol. Mostly clear gold pour with a slim tight white top. Belgium malts with American hops. Lots of lace. Catty aroma. Yeasty. Light amber fruit. Simply not working for me. UPDATE: Couple months later again at the Irish Pol. Rated poorly (2.7) before, bumping it up a bit because that malt feels fuller now and the body is creamy. The catty aroma has (mostly) disappeared. Better but still not a favorite for me. Could be a bad keg.
