From a bottle at the RB DC tasting on April Fool’s Day 2017. Pours a cloudy gold with an off white head. Aroma and flavors of tart cherries. Sour finish. dimenhetfield (2554) - , Florida, USA - JUL 25, 2012
On tap at EBF. Again it seems as though Captain Lawrence can do no wrong when it comes to sours. Great sour qualities mixed with cherries, perfect fruit/sour balance. pushkinwow (2909) - Ottawa, CANADA - FEB 10, 2012
Tap at Night of the Barrels (EBF). Did not take any notes on this one apart from that it was better then the 2012 blend but still an odd blend of flavours. Definitely also thought it was a much better cherry flavour - no cough syrup present in this one. j12601 (13188) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - FEB 6, 2012
Pouring at the Night of the Barrels on the Friday night of EBF 2012. Pours a lightly hazed brown with a thin white head. Warm acid, toast, and a touch of floral aromas. Soft cherry tannins, bright cherry. Acid, tart and toast. Not unbalanced, smooth and bright, long acid with some acetone on the finish.
