Tap at Captain Lawrence event @ Blind Tiger - lots of fruit, peach and grapefruit, lots of sour lactic and floral scented soap. A touch of salad dressing level acetic acid. murphym45 (769) - New York, New York, USA - APR 13, 2011
Tap at Blind Tiger. Pours clear gold with very little head. Nice fruity aroma with citrus, floral, funky. Fairly light bodied with a nice sourness that isn’t overpowering, more fruit and a bit of oak. Dry, tart, and complex. Very nice. j12601 (13027) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - APR 4, 2011
On tap at the Blind Tiger during their Captain Lawrence event. Pours a hazed gold. Lightly floral, sweet notes of toast and wheat. Sweet, caramel and sweet wood and funk. Lightly funky, smooth and delicate. Not as bright acid wise as Castleton, more of a soft vinegar. Wood and sweetness on the finish. Of the four new sours that showed up there, this was probably my favorite. vtafro (7445) - Wayne, New Jersey, USA - APR 4, 2011
Draft @ Blind Tiger. Golden pour almost no head. Light elderflower, spices, light funk, light fruit and dry finished tones. Sour tones are light in comparison to other CL sour blends. Crisp nice, almost saison like but with sour tones. blipp (9590) - La Mesa, California, USA - APR 3, 2011
Draft. Pours gold with a thin head. Funky and flowery aroma with citric zest and peachy notes. The flavor has nice funky floral notes, grains, grass, citric zest, and light woody notes. Pleasant and easy drinking.

On tap at Blind Tiger. Pours a hazy as hell gold. Aroma of hibiscus and raspberry. Flavor was soft and somewhat subtle of raspberry, lemon, and oak. A bit of sweet bubble gum in the finish. This was surprisingly tame overall. Jow (4028) - Orlando, Florida, USA - APR 1, 2011
On tap at Blind Tiger. Rumor has it we may expect some snow soon but its officially spring so decided to give this beer a try. smelled amazingly fresh, of citrus, and grass. tastes of orange peel, oak, some slight vanilla, elder flowers. it was spritzy indeed reminded me almost of a mimosa. surprisingly good, would have this again for shizzle. Draft at Blind Tiger. Pours a hazy golden body with a white head and light retention. Funky barnyard, brett tones, wild and herbal. Very nice aroma still more grassy, funky earth and herbalness, cobwebs. Mild fruit esters like apple and pine. Wild herbal body light husk, leather, and floral dryness. Very dry with no real residual sweetness. Very low acidity, very quaffable. This reminds me of an excellent saison, easily my favorite offering of the day, even better then Rosso batch 3 or was that 4. Enter this into a competition.
