Not impressed. A little of the grapefruit but missing the beer flavor that shows quality. Tap

6-pack from the corner, drank over the course of a week or so while dicking around online. Light color. Nose is light fruit/grass, some banana I think. Slightest bit musty. Ripe banana taste, little bit on the cloying side but gets better as you go. Not a bad springtime beer for the apartment.

UPDATED: MAY 26, 2015 Tap pour at the Mtc Office. Hazy amber with short head that dissipates quickly. Nose of banana with some citrus from the hops. Taste is refreshing citrus, mostly lemon. Having played 18 holes in 80+ temps, very refreshing! (Re-rated w/o golf but with warm temps).

Cant bieve I didnt rate this during my early days on site when I was all in with the captain. Hazy yellow pour with nose of banana and cloves. Tastes of banana, clove, honey, wheat, and herbal finish. Thin but satisfying palate. Fine summer beer even now its oddsly cold out

From Hawthornes in Philly. Summer in a bottle. Pours a hazy yellow with a big white head. The aroma is malt with a hint of fruit. The flavor is lemony citrus with a bit of orange. Slightly tart with a nice clean feel. A bit thin but that is to be expected. A very fine brew for the hot weather.

Pale and malty flavor. Tangy and citrusy. Very sour. Too much so for me. The flavor combinations do not do well on my palate. Bitterness is evident. Its very earthy and the artificial fruit throughout dont go well together. Sun block is a good descriptor here actually.

Mild hefiger Antrunk mit stimmigem Hopfen. Sffig, grasig, erdig. Der Hopfen dominiert ab dem Mittelteil, insgesamt mild und moderat bitter. 8/10/12/9//9

Pours clear blonde. Smell is weak, some malts. Taste is bit sweet, some aromamalts and slightly a hoppy character. Rather thin, but good carbo. I can imagine it wouls make a nice drink in the summer.

Bottle (12 oz) bought @ RP Beer Emporium. Based on the last rating, this might be from last summer so quite old already.

Appearance: Clear pale golden with a large quickly diminishing but easy to revive white head and some lacing.

Aroma: The fact this light beer is quite olad might not be a problem after even if the aromatic hops are mostly gone because it appears that really nice herbal brettanomyces are taking most of the place now. Combined with light citrusy notes and light spiciness, this is quite interesting.

Taste: The herbal brettanomyces are there too, though they are a lot less powerful. Theres also citrus, light wheat acidity and mild peppery notes.

Palate: Very light body. Moderate to medium carbonation. Watery mouthfeel. Dry and mildly herbal finish.

Overall: The body is very light so this is like a diluted Orval, but still a diluted Orval is better than 90% of the beers. Amazing drinkability. An old beer supposed to be past his prime that turned out to be quite a fun one.

Ehhh. Bottled. Hazy pale color big head. Aroma is hops, some weak banana and cloves. Wet cardboard. Taste is mild hops up front, wheaty clove and banana in the middle and mild hops finish. Disappointing.
