Can. Clear light golden with small white head that disappears fast and no lacing. Light sweet malts, hint of fruits and slight dry light finish with a touch of hops. Light bodied with low carbonation. Boring lager but drinkable and refreshing.

0,33l blik 4,4% alcohol van een avondwinkel in antwerpen. Smaak en geur zijn erg beperkt, waterig en blik smaak. Toch is het is redelijk te drinken, ik heb zeker slechtere pilsbieren gedronken.

0.33 L (11.2 oz) can purchased in Brussels. My version: brewed in Belgium at 4.4% abv. Sharply rusty and metallic nose, standard rust-hops and wheat PL-type taste, with a strangely, abruptly neutral finish (not quite the pillowy malt of Jupiler, but not the extra harshness Id expect either--some compensation points for that!) Definitely the worst Belgian beer Ive ever had, hopefully the listing is updated to reflect this :)

UPDATED: JUN 16, 2015 CAN. As with every beer, I give it a fair change of being drunk without prejudgment. Though Cara Pils is mostly known as a beer to get drunk as cheap as possible, especially when taste is not obligatory. But anyway, I tried to rate it besides those ideas. APPEARANCE: clear blond beer, rather stable white head. NOSE: metal, grains, not much else though. TASTE: flat, metallic, bad grains actually, very watery... I can enjoy a decent pilsener, even the regular Belgian pilseners, but this was just bad... Drank at S&G big pilsener tasting, blindly comparing 24 pilseners. Taste for most pilseners was the same, some grains, bit hoppy, quite malty and mostly bit metallic. => Conclusion of this beer was surprising, most beergeeks hate it, but tasting it blind, it was just a decent pilsener... So i updated the score a little

14.07.2013. 0,33l Can. Brussel, Belgium. Pale yellow colour with white head. Weak malty aroma. Grassy hops dominates because there is no malt. Very thin. Aftertaste is carbonation.
