2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Poured dark brown with a small, light brown head. Toasted malts and some chocolate aroma. A little cloying and some bitterness. It is not well made, but the kind of cheap, Latin American dark I kind of like.

3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Fazia muitos anos que havia tomado e na época não gostei. Hoje achei maravilhosa, não sei se é a mesma receita, mas ela é um exemplar excelente de uma Stout, ligeiramente doce e muito encorpada. Muito boa.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Beautiful nougat colored foam. Lovely aromas of dark chocolate and a little smoke. The taste is really delicious hard toasted / roasted malt with distinctive good chocolate notes of the slightly bitter and dark kind. Smoked malt added sparingly and provide a smooth smoothing finish, which means that the stout not being too sweet in expression. A hint of hops towards the end, but it is the smoke which maintains the aftertaste most. Elegant and very tasty stout.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Unable to find except in the super markets in Brasilia. Did not notice the sweetness until someone from Brazil mention it when I told them that I had brought some back with me. Still think it is a good stout and wish I could get it in the USA.

Aromas of chocolate, some coffee, some cola. Brown-black, heavy sediment, somewhat lasting tan head. Some sweetness, kind of roasty, dominantly chocolatey. Light-medium bodied.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: DEC 16, 2014 355ml bottle served in my favorite chalice.
Reviewing this beer is pure "nostalgia". It was my granpa’s favorite one. So, it brings me some good memories of my early life in Brazil. :) Anyway, that’s the first time that I review it after having a better beer background.
A: Pours dark brown to black color (with some particles in the bottom) and medium carbonation (with a 1 to 2 fingers beige head). Low retention and some lacings left
S: Roasted malt, caramel and coffee. Some yeasts too
T: Roasted malts, toffee and some coffee background. Sweet upfront. Mild roasted bitterness. Light sweet end. A bit too sweet, in fact
M: Medium to body, bit creamy and molasses. Mild roasted bitter aftertaste
O: Good drinkability, compromised by its exaggerated sweetness. Besides that, an authentic Foreign Stout
