From old tasting notes. Opaque brown color. Thick, rocky tannish brown head. Sweet molasses toasted malt nose. Sweet chocolate malt flavor. Exceptionally sweet finish. Little or no hops to speak of. Kleg (381) - The Beach, Florida, USA - MAY 19, 2017
Pitch black pour with a thick mocha head and great retention. Spotty lacing. Slick mouthfeel. Smooth stout with a little licorice flavor. Okay. Not offensive. 6.8 ABV is undetectable. tcon25 (932) - Duvall, Washington, USA - DEC 23, 2016
Bottle pour at home, brought this back from St Lucia. Black pour almost no head, roasted coffee aroma, semi-flat taste malty coffee. Manslow (1807) - Warsaw, POLAND - APR 22, 2015
Butelka wypite na T&T w 2012r. Kolor ciemnobrązowy z ładną pianą.Aromat zdecydowanie czekoladowy. Smak czekoladowy, słodkie. Lagodne piwo o zsynchronizowanym smaku, jedno z lepszych na Karaibach.

Bottle from international supermarket, winson green, birmingham. Black beerwith small tan head. Aroma is roasted malts, licorice and a slight sourness. Taste is slightly sour, roast malts, licorice and a little sweet chocolate and coffee. Ok, if a little unbalanced.

Bottle, single purchased at a supermarket in Soufriere, St. Lucia. Different bottle than the one pictured, but same logo. Red/black/white color scheme. Not too bad but pretty thin and sweet for the style. It was similar to Guinness Foreign Extra but not quite as good. Just lacking a little bit around the edges when compared to the FES. slowrunner77 (12581) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 30, 2014
kinda reminds me of a black ale/lager as much as a stout. mainly dry and roasty with some chocolate coming through as well. highly quaffable, not too complex. personal beers of the world #1."

Best beer I had in the Caribbean. Dark with a majestic tan foam. Aroma of chocolate and bready malts. Medium body with a residual sweetness and a chocolate finish. Like an Irish Stout but not as dry. My bottle said brewed in St. Kitts. Derek881 (1272) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUL 16, 2014
Enjoyed a bottle of this beer in a Caribbean restaurant. The beer had a pretty thick black-dark brown color with an average-sized foamy tan head with modest retention, cling, and lacing. Its aroma featured some roasty notes of chocolate, coffee, and caramel malt, along with a bit of earthy and grainy hops. It was a somewhat sweet beer with a blend of chocolate and caramel malt, but also had a bit of earthy bitterness blended into the flavor. The beer was somewhat watery and creamy with average to mild carbonation and was fairly wet. Jimthechap (2064) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - APR 26, 2014
My grateful thanks to Cantabrian, who brought this back to Christchuch from God-knows-where specifically for me. What a lovely bloke.
This is seriously dark beer with just a skerrick of cherry in the dimple of the glass. There is a whorl of greyish head on top that looks like a miniature galaxy. The aromas are of cool chocolate, charcoal and cola nut. To taste it is sweet, oily and like a brownie, only liquid. It develops into cola flavours and then green herbal licorice. It’s tasty, but if I don’t get a shot of insulin I may get carted off to hospital.
